I've been with them since their U-Lane-O days some 20 years ago when I was in college. I could not recall if they were good or bad back then since a student's banking needs were minimal. For a long while OCCU was the only bank I had and I always went to them first. As time goes by I've come to realize this is the most difficult place to do banking with. With their no-can-do attitude everything seems harder - whether it's home equity line of credit, or opening a business account, or just trying to straighten out an ATM card glitch (my card did not work out of state), everything is hard, remarkably hard. Their staff, whether it's the teller at the counter or the "banker" in the cubicle seems exceptionally young and inexperienced compared to other banks, and have an I-could-not-care-less aura.  My comments only apply to this branch since I had not dealt with any other. I recently moved my accounts to one of those too-big-to-fail guys. What a difference. It felt more local and friendly and community-oriented than my credit union with the word "community" in their name. I would really like to support anything Oregon but it's not meant to be this time.

I do all my banking  with the 29th branch. In the many many years since I have been a member, I've only experienced top-notch service along with the professional & very courteous staff.  OCCU makes banking a very pleasant experience.

This is the worst bank EVER. I dread going there. The parking lot is a nightmare. The lines inside are horrible. All tellers are rude and condescending. The bank officer lied to me when I opened my account. I wish there was a half star or less to review.

This bank does nothing but hassle me and try to charge me $25 for anything that I need to have done. If they truly supported local business they would help me out, but they don't.
