Small but nice - Orlando Sanford is a good airport, good parking options, checking my bag was easy enough, security was smooth. Couple things could be slightly improved - food choices past security could use a little work, a Starbucks on the air side in particular would be much appreciated, and the wifi was more or less unusable (not surprising, few airports do really well with it but this was bad). If you're flying early in the morning don't be surprised if this airport is pretty crowded/busy - just because it's a smaller regional airport does not mean it will be empty.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There's enough food so that you can get what you need, but you don't get overcharged for there being too much stuff going on at that airport. I love flying out of here.

The staff within the airport at self at Allegiant airport are above and beyond the Call of Duty and I applaud them! However I comment on the parking Department and the people who set the rates for parking really need to revisit the fees they charge and the lack of shuttle service many times I should say almost every time I have to walk I'll wait an excess of 30 minutes but a shuttle service to show up if they ever show up they're too busy lollygagging around talking with each other. The prices they charge for such a crappy parking area and such a long distance you have to walk because you cannot be late . It's a long Trek from the parking lot to the terminal in the rain either that wait for the shuttle service if they ever show up.

The airport has a terrible design and terrible signage. For instance, in order to find the "economy lot" (13$ a day) we had to follow two small temporary signs that were unlit, one of which had fallen over. The security area is very backed up and there is literally one bench and no standing area for people to collect their belongings and put on shoes. The airport is designed so that 4 of the gates bottleneck into one small hallway so good luck when two planes are boarding at once. After our return flight, baggage claim took almost an hour before they brought out the bags. Small airport convenience does not apply here.

Flying into and out of Sanford is easy! All signs are well marked and there's no searching for your connection. We like this airport due to the simplicity and flyer friendly atmosphere.
