Had an excellent first appointment with Ken, a physicians assistant. He was kind, listened, and was knowledgeable. He came up with a few choices I could pick from for my treatment, and explained each one to me. I agree with some reviewers that it is difficult to get through on the phone, I had to leave 2 messages (neither were returned), and called 3 more times before getting anyone to make an appointment, but I am happy I got in. Maybe they're so busy because they're good? Busy place, but likely worth the wait.

Disappointed with office staff and back end nursing. The receptionist need to start with a smile and appreciation for the patients who are actually paying their salaries. The attitude of the patients being a number or a bother shows every time we visit.   Poor communication, phone calls never returned and rude attitudes are inexcusable. If it were not that we very much like Dr. Goodyear & his PA Grant, we'd drive to KC.  Our family has been patients in this office for over 15 years, considering a change...

Can't speak to the physicians, but that is because when I call they do not answer and have me on hold so long they hang up.

08/2017: the owner's excuse would be fine if it didn't happen again, for the third time when I decided to try one last time before looking to Johnson County. I don't understand how this place has any patients since hiring a receptionist is beneath them. 

09/2017: You can get in and out of Apex orthodox in Overland Park before you would ever get through the phones here.i have tried on multiple occasions since I first hurt my hand in August of last year to Call OrthoKansas with no luck. Apex got me in very quickly and they were professional.

__They are understaffed. If you call you will be on hold until the line is cut and you have no choice but to leave a message. 
__ Terrible wait time. 1 hour average.
__I called an appointment and scheduled one with a doctor, they said Dr. W will see you on this time and date. BUT when I went in, a PA saw me and the doctor did not even enter the room for 2 seconds.
This was sneaky and unprofessional. Kept asking for the Doctor but they kept trying to distract me. I never would have spent my time and money if I knew that. 

This place has an unprofessional system overall. Will never go back there again.
