Story

The Center for Manual Medicine is a unique facility dedicated to the non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. We combine traditional medicine with chiropractic and physical therapy to help patients with a variety of conditions including neck and back pain, headaches, extremity pain, and much more. Our facility was the first certified practice in Kansas for muscle and joint diagnostic and injection guided ultrasound. Dr Frye was among the first certified muscle and joint sonographers in the U.S. Dr. Penn has repeatedly been voted best chiropractor in Topeka. Our physical therapists lead by Matt Elniff have advanced training in muscle and joint treatment. We offer regenerative injection therapy including platelet rich plasma or PRP and prolotherapy. Dr Frye and everyone at Manual Medicine is great.  They are caring, extremely competent, easy to work with, reasonably priced and give great customer service. Dr Frye also has a very friendly bed side manner and he cares about his patients.

Had a great experience with Dr. Frye and all the staff members at the Center for Manual Medicine!!  Took the time to listen and provided multiple options for treatment.  Highly Reccomend!!

Went in for body pain and numbness.. Was given the basic physical therapy session of squat racks and tredmilk walking. So i was treated for the exact same symptoms as everyone else who walked through the door. I wouldnt recommened these people for anything but wasting time on a monday afternoon....oh i also have nerve damage and pain that was never addressed. Telling them whats happening doesnt cut it. 

Overall you get you back popped and you leave.....horrible horrible horrible treatment.

5 Stars does not even begin to express my experience at The Center for Manual Medicine. Everything from scheduling, nurses, and health services was top-notch.

For almost a year, I was plagued with bicep tendinitis and constant pain. I had limited ability with my dominant arm with no signs of healing; even with months of rest and limited activity.

All that changed when I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Frye. He quickly found the issue and recommended a PRP injection for treatment. The PRP injection went smoothly. You can tell Dr Frye is quite skilled with sonogram-guided injections.

A few days after the injection, Dr. Frye called me personally to see how I was doing. I have never had a doctor personally call to follow-up before.

After a couple months of rest and physical therapy, my arm was basically back to normal and could start returning to my full activities!

I am still amazed at the skill of Dr. Frye and the effectiveness of the PRP injection.
