Story

Oscar's is located in the heart of the Germantown/Schnitzelburg neighbor on the corner of Shelby Street and Burnett Avenue. It has been locally owned and operated and full of good times. Oscar's has a tradition of having all the hard-to-find hardware and just the right solutions. Additionally, it has an employee crew who have the knowledge, expertise, and the desire to problem solve. Individual customer service is the norm. Although a place to find fix-it items, it is also a place to meet your neighbors, hear a good story, and be a part of the fun.

Good selection, and consistently top notch customer service

Very convenient. Have most everything and has some things the big box doesn't when it comes to needs of historic home plumbing and electrical. Ready to get to, intelligent staff, and no traffic jam trying to get to far east stores.

Old school helpful, nice, and feels so personal! Always have what I need, and it is quite inexpensive!

its like it should always be! very nice , old fashion, down home hardware store, good people , ill spend the extra money to have the service they give you . the alway great you at the door some one is always asking to help you , they personally take you right to what you need ,if there are relay busy they will tell you where to find it, but they always add when im done with this costumer if your having any problems ill be right there , they rely are the best at what they do hands down ....

I love that Oscar's is in my neighborhood. That saves me time and gas. Sure you won't get big box prices but where else can you get the little plastic corners of a storm window repaired? Helpful staff. Returns and exchanges easy. Glass cut to order. Loose nails. Grass seed by the scoop. The old fashioned brown liquid Lysol are just a few of my purchases. And like the other reviewer said, it just smells right. Your time has to be worth something. Try them out.
