Ostlund helped us diagnose a problem with our water heater, figured out what parts we needed, directed us to a supplier for those parts and installed them when they came in. We were quite satisfied. That was three years ago and the repair has held up just fine.

I can not speak for the installation of the new furnaces that they are currently installing a Sycamore Creek Apartments in Orion Township. However, I will speak about the mess they left behind! Insulation all over including the grass where another resident raised concern about when walking their dog! Besides the fiberglass insulation on the steps of the building. Black tar stuff on the steps which gets on your shoes then your carpet. Just an overall mess!!! As a former home owner I will not recommend this company just on the mess! They also parked a work truck in an assigned handicapp parking place! My opinion that was just rude and disrespectful to make that resident wait to see someone from the crew to move their vehicle!!! 😡😡😡

Our tub faucet was not diverting correctly so we were losing a lot of water during showers. We googled easy solutions, of course, found them, bought a new faucet, went to unscrew the old one and the copper pipe came with it thanks to about 40 years of mineral build-up. Went back to the store, bought new pipe and a blow torch, but then had to cut a bigger access point in the wall (the original could hardly fit a skinny arm) and began trying to solder from our janky new access point underneath a bathroom cabinet. Wood started smoking and we thusly did not feel comfortable doing-it-ourselves anymore. Called Ostlund, got super friendly receptionists who were knowledgeable and reassuring. Technicians (Jake and Kevin) were at our house within 20 minutes and they were also friendly, professional, knew exactly what they were doing and were willing to safely improvise with our self-made, less-than-user-friendly access hole. Saved us so much stress and worry and a TON more time. Great job well done and for a totally reasonable price. Will definitely be calling here again!

We had a gas leak under our house . The tech came out and found a rusted gas line. He had all parts with him and had us all fixed up in a couple hours. Office help was friendly and the tech was even friendlier. Fair price too. Called again to install 200amp service. Same experience and beat the competitions price.

Overpriced for the time worked.... Called for service to check a back flow valve (irrigation system) and repair an outside spigot Both were labor only- no parts. The total job took less than 45 min. According to them, they billed the work as 2 separate jobs- $90 to check the back flow and $90/hr for a standard service call (charged $180). The original quote was $135. After work was finished they explained they wont charge to for the solder/fluxed used (less than half an ounce) and the out of area charge (only live 5min away)...thanks for the "break". After the fact, I contacted the office to express my concern for the excessive cost for less than an hour's worth of work. They said they would call back same day and never did. My wife had to go there in person to inquire. They reduced the service call rate to 1/2hr ($45) even though it's a 1hr min. Final total $135. I appreciate the partial refund, but still seems absurd. Call Pinckney Plumbing for a quote first. Realized they had better rates after the fact.
