This is such a great volleyball club! All of the coaches are amazing and super helpful. Felix and Cynthia always go out of their way for all of the players and treat everyone like family. My daughter has learned so much and keeps excelling each season. I would highly recommend this volleyball club to others!

I have been in this sport for more than 20 years and made great friends, brothers, and more than anything I have been able to enjoy the development of many players who have reached D1, D2, D3 and NAIA, always in a stage of development, in OTVA LONGWOOD I find myself in my house. With people who care about the well-being of the players and commit directly to the preparation of each athlete. Come and work with the best training in Central Florida.

This is an amazing facility for growth, teamwork, individual skill,  and attitude. The Coaches work with all the girls in a positive but constructive way to reinforce good skills.

The Longwood facility, its coaches and staff are amazing.  My daughter has had nothing but the BEST training and experience at Longwood.  While there are Puerto Rican coaches (which we absolutely love) at this facility, there is no language barrier, the coaches speak English perfectly well and my daughter nor I have ever had an issue understanding them.  OTVA proudly employs Puerto Rican coaches at every facility, not just Longwood.  I embrace this because clearly the Puerto Rican culture knows volleyball pretty darn well...they all have National Champlionships to prove it!! 

Let's talk volleyball...My daughter strives for excellence in volleyball and the coaches at Longwood have helped her attain this goal through intensive training and great coaching, coaching you can't just find anywhere.  Felix, Cynthia, and their entire coaching staff build great volleyball players.  They encourage sportsmanship, good attitudes on and off the courts, and motivate these young girls to do their personal best while maintaining passion for the game.  

Thank you Felix, Cynthia, Alex, Ann Marie and Isaac for everything you've done to further my daughters volleyball experience!!!

There are a couple very good coaches at Longwood but very steep drop off after that. Most coaches and management speak broken English and very hard to understand (unless you speak Spanish). Last season 4 players and parents from one of the teams walked away in the middle of a tournament because of poor coaching and many others (more than normal) left at season’s end. Longwood‘s management team heavily favors players from Puerto Rico or competitive clubs (coached by non-Longwood staff) over players that their coaching staff have spent years training. Politics mean much more than players ability at Longwood. They’ll often bring in someone from PR or another team last minute for championship tournaments in hopes of getting that player to come to Longwood, but it completely disrupts the team that has worked so hard to get to that tournament and usually results in a poor showing for the team. We recently left Longwood for another OTVA facility, but just heard they completely shafted their best setter on 12’s team because they made a deal with a sub-par player from Top Select and surprise, the other setter spot was being reserved for a player coming from PR that didn’t have to show up for tryouts. The poor girl who got the shaft, the team, the coach and all the parents were completely floored with management’s irrational deal and decision making. We also heard the other Longwood 12’s team is getting a new coach from PR that didn’t need to show up for tryouts either, so all those parents had to sign commitments not knowing anything about who would be coaching their girls (other than his resume). Needless to say, we are very happy about our decision to switch facilities!
