We normally love Outback, this was our first time at the one in Valdosta. It was busy but not packed. The waitress was nice but I don't know if she was having a bad night or if she's in the wrong profession. I had to ask another server for straws, she did not bring silverware with the salads, she never came back to check on us or refill our drinks. When we all had food left on our plates and I asked for boxes, she only brought 2 for 4 people. When we asked her to split the check she charged the people who got water for tea. When we asked for drinks to go, she brought unsweetened tea to people that got sweetened. Then said we'd have to wait for a new batch to be brewed if we wanted replacements. While taking our order she spilled water on the floor along side our table, saying she'd come back to clean it up, she never did. Customers walked through it for an hour. She put the tray on a tray jack in the kitchen and pushed it across the restaurant to our table, never saw that one before. There was not one thing about the service that was acceptable. The food was very tasty and fresh and the atmosphere was pleasant.

We had the Steak and crab legs. WOW is was so good. Sam our server was awesome. The potatoes soup reminded me of home made. My grand daughter Kyla had the best lunch for her birthday. Thank you Outback!

When we ordered we made sure that our server knew about my wife's food allergy and to please make sure that our blooming onion did not have any bloom sauce and asked for ranch instead. When it arrived it had ranch but had bloom sauce poured on the onion itself. The manager was quick to appologize after my wife's face had swollen up. Luckily she knew as soon as it had touched her lips that it has the bloom sauce and I had to leave the restaurant the get medicine and we were able to avoid a trip to the emergency room.

Good service... in fact, great service. Have to say that. Food was ok, at best. I guess my expectations at a chain place should not be high, but I was definitely looking for something better for the money

I told them ahead of time about my food allergy (horseradish) and that I could not have the bloom sauce. They apparently put the sauce on it then took it off because it was spilled on the onion itself. Luckily I only got a tiny amount and was able to stop the reaction without the usual trip to the ER. The manager was very attentive after that. I was impressed with his concern, just wish they would have paid attention to begin with. I wasn't able to eat but they still charged me for the entire order.
