Absolutely gorgeous! We went for the holiday lights display and everyone had a blast. It was crazy there! We even arrived early and the parking lot was almost full. It's good the police department was engaged in directing traffic. There was a little confusion before the gates opened about which line you needed to be in, so some signage or people roaming around with instructions would help next year. The gnome and fairy houses were spectacular works of art, and we enjoyed the permanent sculptures as well. There were a couple musicians along the path that were brilliant and fascinating to talk to. The lights were beautiful and my toddler had a blast running through the light tunnel and playing with the light 'gumdrops'. We skipped the Santa portion but thoroughly enjoyed the rest. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful! We will definitely return sometime during the warmer months to enjoy the arboretum in full bloom as well!

We went on the Luminary Walk, it was beautiful! There were also great stops; Louisburg Cider Mill hot cider samples, horse drawn hay rides, Santa, and musicians & singers dotted around everywhere. I don't know how many people light those luminaries every night. But WOW!!!! There are so many. They are in the creeks and ponds making everything even more special. There is a snack bar and gift shop in a building at the end. If you went on a night like we did you will appreciate the fire, a warm building and a chance to sit. You may even fancy a snack or find a momento of the evening to take with you. My sister talked about this every year, I'm so glad that I went. I will go next year...make a tradition out of it. I think it was cheaper to buy the tickets ahead of time, but I could be mistaken.

Annual luminary walk is a highlight of our year. Wonderful tradition that our son enjoyed while young and is still enchanting. The trains have been expanded, the gnome village was terrific and spread out so people are not bunched up to see it. Old OP model was neat. Did I mention we saw Elvis there?

We saw the Christmas lights. We loved walking around and looking at all the different displays. There had people playing instruments and singing. There even was Santa. You could also purchase hot drinks and cookies. It was a great evening
