The Overlea diner is a local, classic Mom and Pop diner in Overlea, MD. The place is packed on Sat and especially Sun, so get there early! They have classic diner fare, which is always tasty. I've never had anything there that I didn't like. Their burgers and chicken sandwiches are generous and not greasy. They also have good egg dishes :)

My friend and I saw bugs crawling around the establishment, so we went elsewhere for breakfast. Definitely, would NOT recommend eating at Overlea Diner.

I really enjoy this little piece of history in the middle of Overlea. It's a nice place to grab a bite and catch up with friends. The outside is a classic 1950's diner. The inside is warm and cozy. It feels almost like you're hanging out in someone's kitchen. The waitresses are very kind and pleasant. The food is basic diner food but it is fresh and tasty. I've had eggs over easy cooked perfectly, home fries crispy crunchy on the outside warm and soft and warm on the inside, egg salad like my Mom made back in the 60s, very generously stuffed chicken salad wraps and very good coffee. It's a great place to spend a pleasant hour.
