Cherry Hill is a big town, & it needs a special place to call its pub. When we opened in '02, we took the challenge and built a pub thats got it all! The result is an atmosphere that can range from a laid back lunch to electric live music & playoff games!

Story

P.J. Whelihan’s is a family owned and operated group of restaurants that has grown to 14 locations, proudly serving the community since our doors opened in 1983. We’re known for our many delicious flavors of wings that you can order in-house or on the go! Between the famous wings, the ever-rotating draught list, & the wall-to-wall flat screen TV’s, P.J.’s is the best place to catch all the action. And don’t forget to order our Wing-of-the-Month.
Founded in 1983 by Bob Platzer, with the help and support of his wife Donna, P.J.W. Restaurant Group has grown from one restaurant to 19 with four different dining concepts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Though Bob’s first restaurant, Platz’s, eventually became the regionally renowned P.J. Whelihan’s, his original commitment to serving great food with good company is something that has never changed. Today, the group’s esteemed hospitality brands include: P.J. Whelihan’s Pub and Restaurant, the casual pub and eatery which pays homage to Bob’s grandfather’s name; The Pour House, the neighborhood favorite for the best to offer in craft beer and unique pub grub; Treno Pizza Bar, a wood and brick fired pizza bar offering authentic Italian fare with P.J.W. Restaurant Group flare; and The ChopHouse, a lakeside steak and seafood restaurant with an upscale yet friendly atmosphere.
