Wonderful family restaurant with a huge menu of innovative entrees. Husband and I stop for breakfast and are so glad we did. So many selections for French toast, waffles and everything else that's good for breakfast. I chose the homemade corned beef hash which was delicious. Husband chose the Mexican chorizo omelette which was tasty and packed full of flavor. Great place to bring the family. Family. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. Good place to bring the family.
Pretty good diner. Most things were pretty good and we were sat within 10 mins on busy Saturday brunch. my gf got a southwest Benny with was pretty good with a perfectly poached egg but had pretty much taco seasoning sprinkled over top which wasn’t really needed. I got the country skillet that was all pretty good. Especially the gravy. Definitely needed more salt though. We shared an apple cinnamon waffle that was over all good. The waffle itself was was great because it wasn’t soggy which always sucks. However the apples in it had like no flavor oddly enough. Definitely going to be back.
As far as Coney style restaurants go, Christoff's is above average. As an old retired army guy, I love my morning cup of joe. Their coffee is very good, and given the amount of customers drinking coffee at breakfast time, you are guaranteed fresh coffee with every top-off. We dined with a group of six, all having different fares, and every plate looked delicious. Everything tasted good, especially the ham and toast, and the eggs tasted real, which I can't say for a lot of breakfast plates at other Coneys. It's crowded, parking is tight, and service time was about average. We waited about 5 minutes for a table, so not too bad for a Sunday morning.
We used to come here allot when we lived in Michigan and I’m so very pleased that the quality and genuine kindness of this place is still the same for our visit to see some family. Wonderful food, fast service and just 5 star customer service as soon as you walk in the door.
Hands down the best and freshest breakfast downriver. Best breakfast downriver since Toast went out of business. this place is amazing the quality of the fruit and the level of sweetness is spot on. All their breakfast items were absolutely amazing!
Just went here for the first time and everything was fantastic. The service was wonderful and everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, I had the southwest eggs Benedict and the chorizo was some of the best I've ever had! A lot of cilantro which I love but if you don't like cilantro I suggest the regular eggs Benedict, my father said it was the best he ever had!
Yummy festive and fun drinks, great brunch. Used to come all the time for their broiled steak, hope they get back to running all day again!Food: 4/5
Our server was personable, kind, energetic, and very attentive. The food was amazing and continues to be a great experience each time I come. A little sad they have limited hours but respect their decion because they prefer their clients to have a good dining experience, rather than risk being understaffed, etcFood: 5/5
It was really good, the only slight knock I could give is that it looks a bit dated, but not overly so.Food: 5/5
I first came here with my parents nearly 30 years ago. My childhood home isn't too far away and the area around this restaurant has grown up to be unrecognizable since way back then, really. Fast forward, I have now been coming here with my husband for the past 20 years, my oldest son for the past 15 years and my youngest son, 11 years. Christoff's has been a part of our family's routine for many years, and now, reaching across generations. And naturally, we've made some friends here along the way, too. For all of this, we are grateful.
