I go to Port Townsend every summer to escape the heat of Utah . I used to ship my own bike out but once I started renting from Bob , it was an easy decision to keep doing it each year. Bob fixes me up with a comfortable bike at a reasonable price. I have seen him bend over backwards for other patrons. Keep up the good work!

A crank arm broke on my old bike, so I rolled into Bob's. A half-hour later I rolled out with an arm scavenged from another bike. Drive-thru service, not bad. Six years ago the bike wore out. Bob showed me a Raleigh Alley Way commuter bike, which initially did not appeal to me. Nonetheless, I bought it (Bob gave me the REI sale price) and have fallen in love with it as with no other bicycle before. Reliable friendly service. Good advice on two-wheeled matters.

Bob did an outstanding tuneup for my bike. Found things that needed tweeking. I am verry happy with the performance. He has kept things going for me over the years. Good place to do business.

We had a group in town for a wedding. Bob did a wonderful job of getting us all set on rental bikes with helmets and recommending a beautiful off-road 18 mile roundtrip. Thanks Bob.

today I called in and asked if they could put in bottom bracket bearings on a Trek Madone 4.1 (carbon fibre). The tech told me to bring it in and they would check it out so I made the 50 mile round trip. When I got there they said to leave it and they would check it out, possibly by the end of the day. So I hung around town for awhile and got a call. I went back to the shop and Bob said he didn't want to get into to it because it was carbon fibre. He knew it was carbon fibre when I left it and the tech should have known a Trek Madone 4.1 was carbon fibre when I called in. The charge was $10.00. Not a great sum, but for what? The tech could have told me when I called in. Bob could have told me when I dropped it off. I just feel I got ripped. I try to support local bike shops rather than getting parts and accessories online. This one doesn't even deserve the one star I gave it.
