Good basic American-style pizza place. All the basics covered plus have palonzas -- basically calzones. Good flavor. Well worn interior has lots of character depending on your taste could be updated but I didn't come for surroundings. Beer in can or bottle (basic domestics only).

I frequent Kirksville for business and my friend that lives there was raving about the place. The first time he took me too if he was so embarrassed at how bad the interaction and food was. They overcharged me, gave our table the wrong items, and it took about an hour to get food because we were “forgotten.” I was reassured that this was a one off happenstance; however, I visited recently and again to my disappointment more let downs. I called 60 mins in advance and my order still wasn’t ready when I showed. They blamed it on being busy, and I was ok with that. They hadn’t even started the order, then they prepared my food with NO GLOVES!! One person even handled the trash before touching my food. I was shocked that they didn’t know why I was upset. It’s crazy that they had a food safety poster and showed no regard to the teachings on it. I will never recommend or visit this place again. I was extremely disappointed.

This shop has great palonzas, sandwiches, and pizza choices. The interior of building is always clean but it does show it's age. The food are prepared fresh and baked to your order so there is some wait time involved from order time to time of food reaching the table but the taste is worth the wait. The fruit pocket desert I chose was a great addition to the meal.
