Today was my first day at the Pain Clinic by Washington St..I saw Dr. Jamie Dreon..Although she wasn't feeling well, she was amazing! She was very understanding of the problems I have & being bipolar. Rhe medications she prescribed for me have immediately started working! The nerve pain I have has been relieved for the first time in 7 years! I am so thankful that I was referred to her..Also, the ladies at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! I feel very fortunate, safe, & blessed to be under her care! I've had to see alot of doctors & surgeons due to 2 failed abdominal hernia surgeries & back problems..Dr. Jamie Dreon is absolutely one of the very best! That bedside manner...even feeling bad she is the best! Thank you Dr. Jamie for helping me..I haven't felt this good in over 7 years..

If yall can follow rules and not smoke marijuana and sell your pills for money. Get a job for the ones who are able too. There wouldnt be any problems

In defence of Dr. Steven Brockman I would like to give my honest review from over 2 years of being under his care/ watchful eye of the government.. If you can follow all of the rules that our caring government has forced upon the pain management doctors of our day, then you will not have any complaints about Dr. Brockman or his service. Recently due to a change in his business there are a lot more patients at the Shelby Clinic. With the patient flow increase this has lead to several complaints that I have found online. Most are from clients that have had to wait too long in the waiting room. My advice to anyone that feels like there may have been a mistake, or that they have been lost in the shuffle is to walk up to the receptionist and speak up for yourself instead of sitting there getting upset.

I agree with another commenter. I have been seeing Dr Brockman for years and while there are times his bedside manner left more to be desired, he was always advocating for my care. He never once made me feel that I was crazy or a drug seeker. He always affirmed my pain, listened to my experiences, and allowed me ro be an active participant in my care. The nurses were always the sweetest too. However, since he sold his business to Carolina Comprehensive Pain Management it has been nothing but a nightmare. The whole front office staff was replaced and I believe they must ride in on broomsticks as they are incredinly rude and condescending. I have been an established patient there for years but treat me like I know nothing (especially since I am younger). The paperwork is a nightmare. You are forced tp wait much longer to be seen (& heaven forbid you need to pee before the nurse calls). You are forced to come every month instead of every three months which costs significantly more time and money. It is sad and incredibly frustrating as a long-term patient.

Dr. Brockman is an excellent doctor. I would highly recommend him. Since he sold his business to Carolina Comprehensive Pain Management it has been nothing but a nightmare. My 76 year old mother had to sit in the waiting room up to 5 hrs. She now has to see the doctor every month instead of every 3 months (not a big deal). The front desk staff is rude. They performed $1,400 worth of unnecessary tests that her insurance ultimately denied. They advised that if she didn't do the tests than she wasn't going to get her medicine. Also, advised that she is leaving for NJ for the holidays on Dec 16th and they still made her appointment on the 16th advising that we need to change our flight arrangements. Are you kidding me? No matter how much we love Dr. Brockman, we have to change doctors. What a shame that such a profitable, pleasant business has turned to this.
