We come here about every 6 weeks. We have always had good service. But can't rate all the food because I always either get the beef tenderloin or a chicken dish I can't recall the name. When you get something u like, why change. Usually a quiet place to eat.

December 31, 2016 At one time this was my go to place for Italian. But, all good things must come to an end. After a couple sub par experiences over the last year, I thought it was worth trying again. Big mistake. Paisano's is locally owned. Generally that is a good thing. Not in this case. Last night around 8:00 pm I arrived at Paisano's. My friend and I had our pick of tables as there were only a couple of tables occupied. I ordered a small serving of pasta with a meatball, Italian sausage and what appeared to be a stuffed shell. Stuffed with what, I'm unsure. I had two glasses of ice water with dinner. No alcohol. The sauce is really pretty good but, everything else is far from outstanding. Little did I know how far that was until later that night. The funny thing is (not funny ha ha) is part way through dinner I commented that I thought it strange there were so few people there. And added, that may be a bad sign. You know Friday nights are pretty busy here in Lex. for dinner. Especially, venues that serve decent food. So, without lots of graphic detail or dramatics, I was throwing up and had diarrhea well into the next morning. Let me add, I generally have a cast iron stomach. I don't have allergies or food sensitivities. Not at all. I don't enjoy slamming a business for any reason. Especially one locally owned. I'm more apt to tell friends and family to avoid a business and not go back. But this is just dangerous.

Best sgetti in town 10 outta 7 for great services and weird tacos smells like a hairy Italians man chest and looked like it too it was very authentic the waiters even talked loud like real Italians and over-exaggerate itfel like i was an actual Mexican. I was headed to a taco bell but got distracted by loud Italian people and pretty waiters sad they had no mash taters and chicken fried rice. but very good.

Good service and great bread, but dated atmosphere. Lasagna sauce was very salty. Pizza sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce.

Good food for good prices. One of the less well know places for Italian but better than many of the higher dollar ones in town.
