It's a Safeway with a twist: you bag your own groceries. Safeway saves, not you, because prices are the same here as any other Safeway. So that is a little misleading, since Safeway has retained the Pak n Save moniker . Lol. Clever. That being said, it's surprisingly clean and orderly given the neighborhood. The cashiers are all friendly and have great attitudes but God bless their little hearts- they frequently struggle with the cash register. Paging for support, or. management?  Be prepared to suspend your disbelief, otherwise, nothing happens and believe me, tension in the line is gonna build. 

You should simply abandon the object s in question. Better yet, while you shop, ask yourself how easy is it going to be to process your items.  Do not buy things which will require calculations, adjustments, exceptions, or intervention from ATF or other branches of law enforcement.

I still really like this place. Caution: no stealing snacks from the bins, shop calmly, DO NOT STARE, and please, no sudden moves. And you'll be fine! 
Remember to start being your bags early. Don't wait and thus hold up the line.

Don't buy the supposedly freshly cut fruit. It has a shelf life of two days max. Next thing you know it's molding and/or taste funny. Save you money and cut it up yourself.

I have been shopping there for years. There was a mislabel sign. I called it to the attention of the cashier who was busy. Went to customer service to explain my overcharge. She agreed and called a manager. The "manager" who refused to give me a name and took off his name tag refused to give me back the dollar over charge. I said i would call customer service and he ok. I spent a day trying to file a complaint
 He was right it is hard to complain. Ok safeway you got my dollar bit lost my business.

Always massive lines and under staffed. Front area needs brighter lights too, we all jokingly call it pak n stab or stabway
