If you love your family member, best not bring them to the Palace. It's very dirty and contaminated. I experienced a few infections while staying here. The workers here walk around with headphones on and completely disregard their duties. They are completely disrespectful towards the residents by yelling, and cursing at them. Also when calling for a nurses aid. Your room will be walked by everyone here. Expect to wait for atleast a hour. Your rights as a patient will be violated from everyone to the smoke aid all the way to the top. I was sent out to the hospital with a 104 fever, and while at the hospital my room was searched and turned upside down. And upon my return was accused of contraband that was found while i wasn't even present. And since then was searched 6 times in two days, with the police called 4 of them times. With nothing ever found on my persons, and now they tell my visitors that they will call the police if they refuse to leave, and also being told if i we're to leave to a family members house. I would not be allowed to return, with me being left outside in rain sleet or snow and refused to be allowed to return to the building. The food is horrible, and the meals you request, will not be given to you. You get what they give. For breakfast you will be served cold eggs with a piece of bread. I've seen prisoners get fed better meals. Their is no organization present within the entire building. During my stay at the palace. I was placed in a room with a resident that urinated all over the room, with no1 wanting to clean the room. I had three cell phones destroyed by the resident by peeing on the floor. And have yet to receive any kind of compensation for any of the phones that we're destroyed. It blows my mind how the state has not shut the doors to this place. I didn't not have a pleasant stay while being at the palace. I suggest that anyone looking for a well rounded place to send their loved ones. Do not send them here. The only good thing i can say about this place is that the administrator is a pretty nice guy. Everything else is terrible.

We love this facility. Great employees, clean rooms, friendly caregivers. The food is awesome and the nurses are the best! We thank the staff for their great work!

Im so sorry I posted the ignorant comment regarding The Palace. I was not at all correct in my views. I thought I was taking about a totally different facility. I humbly apologize for any mixed thoughts and feelings.

If you have a family member here get them out. I cant believe how the state allows this dump to operate. The staff here are unprofessional, disorderly I think these ghetto ass mfs are just here for a paycheck

Thee absolute worse! My dad is currently here for PT. The rooms are dirty. The Patients come from all walks of life, from drug addiction to mental illness. Went on Father's Day and my son and I had to shake this place up! I demanded the room be stripped and sanitized because the smell of urine from his room mate was unbearable! I requested the room mate be showered and have clean clothes on. This review will go beyond a rating,if I could give it a -0, I would!!! The food is horrible. We have to take him practically breakfast, lunch, and dinner when we visit. The staff must come from the heart of the bad lands because they are unprofessional, ignorant and ghetto. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR LOVED ONES TO GO HERE! The state needs to get un here ASAP! THINK I'LL GIVE THEM A CALL AND WRITE A LETTER. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE.
