I've been shopping here over 15 years. Never had one bad experience or any problem whatsoever. In fact, throughout the years associates there have gone out of their way to make sure I got all the possible discounts and coupons for my purchases. Even recommending in some cases to come back the next day to buy something even cheaper and they hold it for me c:
It is what it is, a wide open department store. I'm sorry some of you reviewers don't like the noise and can't do your shopping at the library. 
If you do it right, you can walk out of there with 3 outfits for around $100. For example I got some high top white Fila's for $7 after sale price and rewards coupons.
If you catch on, you'll get hooked, lol.

Palais Royal has always been expensive ever since I can remember., the one in Galveston has the worst customer service and not to mention they have a male manager there that is always blasting his voice the whole time looking for someone to help him I think I was told his name is Mr. Hodges.. its true they do have a website for coupons but I shop here once a month for school or work uniforms... GO TO ROSS OR MARSHALLS my opinion..

I went there to shop yesterday, july 14, and the most annoying thing was manager in green t-shirt Kizzy (or something like that). She kept inspecting my things, moving my basket and backpack without asking and she wasn't friendly while talking to me. On the other hand, cashier Eslen was amazing, she explained everything properly and and was very responsive and hospitable.
