A wonderful quaint station. If you board at night and are the only boarding passenger, do not wait alone. Very dark and many vagrants around. However, the Amtrak staff is always on point knowing who to expect and showed me right to my roomette. Much better deal than first class flights and more fun! The station is pleasant and old fashioned, nice during the day. Too bad the parking spaces don't allow view of where you board, and path to parking spaces is not lit so thankfully my husband was there to wait with me!

Trains are late, business class is 2 inch's larger than coach, way more stops than acknowledged. The old man, mumbling pornographic obscenities was an amusing break in the constant updates for delay. Amtrak wants travelers but won't spend their nonexistent profits to update the waiting area's.

Gorgeous old station. Train stops just long enough to drop off and pick up passengers before moving along. If you have the chance, go inside and see some of the stuff on display.
