I have had a bike assembled and work done on a couple others.  The price is very fair, the service was helpful, and local which was handy for me.  I'd recommend him.  

As a small biz owner I can also appreciate that this person puts far more into their work than deserves a bad review because of a missed store hours visit.  I know it can be a challenge when you have an emergency - so I don't see those reviews as being fair to a local small biz owner.  I myself have never had an issue and seeing that review I guess I'd just call ahead.  I FAR prefer a small biz to deal with than a big box which are open all hours but finding help is impossible.   You have to weigh your needs and deal with the real world.

Hours 10-5, 6 days according to guy in phone. Google posted hours clearly bogus, esp Midnite Sun nite!?! and opens 10 pm.?? Its not a club.

This LBS is a keeper.

If you want parts for your bike, need an adjustment to it or just shopping around for another bike, this shop will fit your needs and then some.  Clyde is one of those owners that wants you to be a bike user as oppose to a bike owner.   Thus the emphasis is on customer service and support, long after you have bought your bike (either there or elsewhere).   

Recently I brought in a old one speed trike for a badly needed upgrade.  I figured that converting it into a multi speed, replacing the old saddle and putting tougher tubes would make it more efficient as a utility vehicle.  Clyde worked with me on the upgrades and I think he gave this clunker as much attention as his slicker bikes.  As a result of these installed upgrades and the customer service/support  provided, I am riding more efficiently and using this trike often.

I left work to get to the shop when they opened in hopes of buying a new road bike.  I got there right at 10 am when they are suppose to open.  Everything was still locked up and the lights were off.  I waited around and still no one came to open.  I ride al ot around the melbourne area and was hoping to make this my new go-to bike shop because of it's convienience to my office.  Sadly, I cannot afford to waste time guessing at what time the shop might open on any given day.  I would rather drive a little further for a more reliable shop.
