After realizing we were not interested in reducing our energy consumption, we decided to look into generating our own with solar panels. We interviewed 5 local companies and chose Palmetto because from the first visit they demonstrated high integrity, incredible customer service during the install and the best price. 

Unfortunately, after the install their service level lacks attention. We had the "rare" occurrence of having our inverter fail after one year. It took a week for Palmetto Solar to get out to us to even look at the system, then ordering a new one took much longer than Solar Edge website says it should take. We have been without solar for a month during July! Failure of the system should have the prompt attention of something like plumbing. Quickly assess, quickly correct. Their call center is nice enough when you call, but the lack of quick action is disappointing.

Palmetto Solar did a fantastic job explaining everything about the solar panels.  I have been extremely pleased with the results.  My house ended up being well-suited for solar panels, and my utility bills have dropped $200+ per month.  The panels have produced more electricity than I have used since I've had them.  The best part is that it took no effort on my part and no money out of my pocket.  I would definitely recommend Palmetto Solar.

Great experience with Palmetto Solar! Matthew was professional and very willing to answer any question I posed. He was knowledgeable in helping me make a decision regarding solar panels. I highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking into solar!

I am a relatively new homeowner and was interested in getting solar panels installed on my home and had one quote already before I found Palmetto online. I spoke to a gentleman named Andrew who was beyond helpful when we chatted and gave me a lot of helpful insight into what I should be looking for in solar panels in terms of size and wattage relative to my monthly energy usage, in addition to explaining the potential tax credits that I would be earning which did not quite click when I received my proposal from the original company. In the end I decided to hold off on panels for now but I would highly recommend Palmetto when looking for a solar company.
