My husband and I stopped in yesterday to pick up a pastry for each of us. 10 pastries later they all look so tempting!, we cannot wait to return, even though it’s an hour away from our house. Everything was absolutely delicious!
Excellent bread! We have always had a great experience. Our favorite is the conchas, bolillos and the marranitos. The bread is consistently good, always super soft and fresh. Best panadería!
From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. The customer service is amazing, and every single pastry we had try is absolutely delicious. They have the best bolillos I had ever eaten. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.
Bread is good but needs better staff management and organization during busy holiday hours. I visited today during a busy time, which I didn’t mind, I understand it’s busy with the holidays. But there was only one tray available to use and no tongs. All the trays & tongs were dirty behind the cashier. When I asked for a clean tong to a female employee with curly hair she handed me a dirty tong with strawberry filling all over it. I kindly asked her for a clean one, she took it from my hands and said “well you’re going to have to wait for a clean tong.” I replied to her “that’s okay” but then realized the bread was not worth the attitude and lack of customer service so I kindly left the store. There was a line of 10 ppl, could’ve been managed with better attitudes & customer service.
This is an awesome bakery. We tried an assortment of goodies and enjoyed everything. The prices are reasonable and I like that the baked goods aren't as sweet as American pastries.
I was really surprised to find pan de muertos, which by the way was delicious! So fluffy and soft. I also tried their orejas with chocolate and I believe it’s a pineapple pastry, which were delicious as well. Pretty sad that I didn’t find much variety since it was around 6pm on a rainy day so everyone craves sweet bread, but I will definitely go back to try more. Big thumbs up to the man in the register who handle the situation appropriately since there were a couple of people being rude to him because there was no more sweet bread available, even though he explained it was coming soon, like if it was his fault. Costumer care speaks highly of a business.
Excellent service and delicious pan dulce. The owners keep everything very clean, they clean the tongs after every customer uses them. The bread is so delicious and the owners are polite and sweet. Definitely coming back!! I recommend 100%!
I accidentally stumbled upon this bakery while looking for another one that had been closed permanently. It is opposite of HEB. You won't find 'panaderías' around here so this was quite the nice surprise. Owners were very friendly and stated that they had just opened approximately 2 weeks ago from date of publishing this review. Location is very clean. I noticed they maintained a strict COVID-19 procedure. This is primarily Mexican pan dulce sweet bread. They have a wide variety of freshly baked pastries. You can order cakes for special occasions and pricing is $ to $$. So when you need something to accompany your coffee, this is the place.
First time at this panaderia and certainly won’t be the last! Such a surprise when I broke open a churro and found a delicious filling. I filled my tray at a reasonable cost with different pastries and also got just plain torta rolls for later. Trying to figure out how to pack some of these marvelous goodies to take back to NYS on the plane!
I was surprised to find a Panderia in the Spring area when doing a Google search and impressed with the friendly staff too. They offer variety of traditional Pan Dulce from conchas to empanadas. I arrived 45 minutes before they closed on a Saturday evening and the bread was still very fresh. I'll definitely be back! Wishing your business much success!
