The WORST Pancake Restaurant in Tennessee! ALL the food we ordered was from frozen and store bought boxes. Burnt coffee with only one refill. I brought up my concerns to the manager and was told that is just how it is . Zero apologies about the nasty flavorless food , tried denying the food was frozen not fresh how ever the servers told us yes it is frozen prepackaged items. To make things worse I was charged 80$ dollars for 4 people for breakfast!! They will not substitute out any pancakes for any of the fruit pancakes they just charge a whole order of them. One set of 5 blue berry pancakes was 10$ and a plate with just eggs and sausages added to that was another 12$ the total for my sons breakfast was 22$ !! I had frozen hash browns with very nasty sandwich cheese on them and it cost 15$. Almost 3$ for coffee and drinks . It would be different to pay that much for high end food but this was nothing more then you can get from the frozen section at walmart. I ate at different restaurants every morning for 2 weeks in Tennessee and this was the only bad experience. I cant not recommend this place to anyone I can only warn patriots of the over priced nasty food they will get. The store isn't as quint as the pictures they post its dark and they cram all the tables and chairs back to back so you cant walk through with out tipping its not handicap accessible . The manager could have be polite and apologized but instead he got mad and started being mean to me. I will never go back and I wont let friends and family either.

By far my favorite spot in the Smoky Mountains. The sweet potato pancakes with cinnamon syrup are so good! Plates come piled high with food, plenty of choices for everyone. I don't think I've ever been when there's not a wait, but it's worth it. The line moves along, and the service is efficient once inside. They really do have a well-oiled machine. Tip: plates of pancakes come piled high and can be easily shared between two people. We add a plate of bacon and eggs, each have two pancakes and are sufficiently full when we're done.

It was extremely over priced for the food. My daughter got sick after she ate her meal, which she ate less than half of it. When I was paying she went to the restroom at the restaurant and threw up. Then when we were about to leave she threw up again in the entrance. I took her over to a table to sit down and someone brought her a wet towel to clean up. The manager did not even say anything or offer a discount since it was their food that made her sick. My parents owned a restaurant and if that ever happened they would give the meal for free. They are retired now and when I told them what happened they thought it was appalling. I will never go there again and definitely not recommend it to friends and family. It would not let me post with no stars, so I had to put one but it definitely did not deserve it.

Worst pancake house I've been to in Gatlinburg. First, they automatically pour you a cup of coffee, without asking, then charge $2.50 for it (and it's not even good coffee). The pancakes are about as good as a store bought mix, the eggs are the quality I'd expect if I was in prison. They only take cash, so if you feel like getting ripped off for sub-quality food, make sure you bring some.

I've been coming to Pancake Pantry for nearly 15 years now. You know what I love about it? The quality of the food and service are always as excellent as I remember during my first visit. I'm not a massive fan of pancakes, in general, but Pancake Pantry makes me want to enjoy them more. Especially the pancakes they prepare. Having visited several pancake houses/breakfast restaurants within a 30 mile radius of this facility, the other places can not compete nor compare to the taste, food design, quantity, and price offfered by Pancake Pantry. If you are visiting Gatlinburg, this place is not recommended, but a required visit.
