My favorite Panera. Quick and friendly service. I want to reiterate quick. The best thing about this Panera is that the customers and staff aren't your typical stuck up, look at me, I'm better than you Panera crowd. Eat hear once and you know, your home.🤠🤠🤠🏠🏠🏠

Employees were very helpful and friendly. They were busy, but on point and running smoothly. I tried the french toast bagel, which was delicious! The coffee on the other hand... While it was brewed fresh and hot, I did not favor the hazelnut coffee. I went for it because it was the freshest and most popular (I thought a lady was going to have a fit when it ran out afterward, the way she yelled at the employees. It was filled promptly and they were very nice about it), but it tasted nothing like hazelnut. Maybe a burnt cinnamon? So, to summarize, friendly and quick service, good food, not so good plain coffee. I will stop back if I'm in the area for food.

We got there an hour before closing on Sunday, ordered via app from highway on the way back home to Chicago. Food was picked up on time and not sitting around waiting. Sandwiches were cold, Panini and soups were warm, 6 pack of scones were stale. Even the coffee on the counter we got was cold, mentioned the coffee was cold and was offered to brew new batch but would be 10min. We didn't have the time. We ate and left dismissed it as low volume of traffic being Sunday night and an hour from closing. Paid good money to feed 9 people. I know it's closing time but we didn't get any breaks on our purchase nor did we bother to ask, just disappointed that my (our) expectations were not met to Panera Bread standards. Makes me think twice before ordering again an hour before closing in the future. Hope it was just this location.

Love Panera but this location is slow and chatty. I work near this area and I've been there during busy lunch hours and slow afternoons and it's not uncommon to wait 20+ minutes for a cup of soup. The workers are so chatty and not worried about their lines. I've waited by the pick-up counter while workers blatantly ignore the line of people waiting to finish their personal conversations. I've never had a problem with the food here but I mostly just avoid this location and go to the soup/salad bar at Whole Foods up the street.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich to go at the Panera on Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Found out when I got home that I had been given wrong sandwich, so someone else got mine. Tried to call store to report. One minute to listen to all details of the date, menu, etc. before phone started to ring store. No answer after 90 seconds. TWICE. Tried website on-line chat, which is poorly organized, difficult to use, and did NOTHNG when I pressed SUBMIT after two minutes to answer ALL of THEIR questions, in irrelevant categories. I still have NO IDEA how to contact them about their error in hopes they might make it right. Reminds me of a dept. store I went to last year...I went in and asked a salesperson where I could find the customer service counter. His reply...”OH, WE DON’T HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYMORE.” Great.
