We went to Panera after reading raving reviews.  On a Friday at around 4:30 there were just a few people there (not busy at all) and the employees were friendly. We ordered a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie and a cinnamon roll along with a latte and a flavored club soda. That was around $14.00 - so a bit pricey for what we got. Both of the pastries were acceptable and the latte was rich and strong. The view was expansive. We will go back to try some of the other menu items.

Just had a terrible experience here. It's Cinco De Mayo and my friend called at 1130 am to place and order for 3 sandwiches to be ready at 430. 
Well my friend went to pick up the food and it wasn't ready. No apology, no explanation. 
We arrived at her house to meet her at 445 and she's not back from getting the food yet. She is ten minutes from the restaurant. 
We texted back and forth. Until after 5pm. Still no food. Nobody there tried to help her. They took her receipt and were rude. No manager to explain. 
I actually tried to call while my friend was there. She stood in line and watched them ignore the phone. 
We will not be going back. And I will be writing a letter to corporate.
ETA We ended up going to Red Robin. Which had great service and great food!

I am usually a positive person, but this place deserves an negative review.  I used to like Panera when I lived in Florida, but I have been to the Panera in Prescott three times in the past year and have been disappointed each time. The food was gross & the service was slow. The employees were inattentive. I didn't even get a chance to dine in the last time because I waited to place an order for well over 5 minutes and there was only one other patron in front of me (she was asking the most ridiculous questions about salad dressings). There were four employees that looked directly at me and could have taken my order while she asked her questions. I finally walked out.  I would much rather eat at the Wildflower in Prescott than Panera any day.

Don't go mid-afternoon.  Only 1 order taker and she clearly wasn't trained in customer service.  I waited 15 minutes behind 2 women who couldn't make up their minds.  No one else to help - I guess the manager was taking a nap.  I like their food but this was too much......
