If I order a large cheese pizza, in store, and ask if there is any special offers on this, I would expect that you would apply the best offer. Apparently only the manager (who she did not want to bother) can apply the carryout special for $7.99, so instead I end up paying over $11. Really not the end of the world for me financially, but I am letting the bitter old man inside of me take the wheel, and will be taking my pizza business elsewhere.

It's so sad the service that you get now days, it never fells Everytime I order a pizza I have to reorder because it's never cooked properly, if I order a pizza with extra sauce the dough is raw, if I order thin crust extra sauce they hardly put any sauce don't send it back, because it will have know cheese and hardly any meat where are the true chef's 😭 I'm done ordering from this place it's sad

I typically don't review places, especially pizza places. I mean, it's pizza, how can you have a bad experience with pizza? Well, when I went to pick up my pizza there were about 4-5 men working. One of those men (not sure on his name) was behind the racks in the middle of the cooking area where they place pizzas that are ready to be picked up. He was looking at me IN BETWEEN boxes and racks where I could barely see him yelling at me "Order or Pick up?". I can't even begin to explain how rude his tone was. He had yelled this at least three times, I just didn't realize he was talking to me because I am not used to being asked something, literally, before I am even in the building from opening the door. He was talking to me like I was the dumbest person he had ever talked to. Once I realized he was talking to me after playing a variation of "Where's Waldo" with him, I gave him an equally as warming glare back (which every worker noticed) and said "Pick up". This may be no big deal for others, but it really bugged me. Still is. I wasn't bothering anybody and I wasn't demanding on being helped right that second. If he was that busy, I would have been happy to wait for a few minutes. I don't know what his deal was. So again, really didn't think you could ruin picking up a pizza, but Congrats, Watson Team! You did it!

PROS: The pizza was tasty as usual with Papa Johns CONS: I ordered 4x pizzas and 2x 2-ltr sodas. The pizzas that I ordered were: - 1 Lg Meat lovers - 1 Lg Supreme - 1 Lg Pepperoni - 1 Lg Canadian bacon with pineapple They told me the total was ~$73 for 4 pizzas. I was quite surprised. So I told them we'd discuss the price when I came in to pick up the order. I arrive and things just get more interesting. I asked to see the breakdown of the bill before I paid and the lady behind the desk said that she can't provide that until I pay...seriously? So I asked, "So you're telling me I can't see what I'm paying for until I pay for it?" She says, "Well when you say it like that, it sounds stupid." So I just look at her perplexed. She then tells me I can look at the screen. So I at that point I'm wondering why she didn't just say that earlier but I just shrug it off. I look at the breakdown and see that the meat lovers and supreme were $17 and 2 other pizzas were near $13.50 and $12.00 if I recall. At this point I asked why she didn't give me the special's prices. Here response was...you didn't ask. I asked, "You have to request them." She said she isn't supposed to apply special's prices unless requested. Now I understand some of you may think that's okay for a company to have a policy that they will not automatically apply special prices. But when I go to Imo's, Pizza Hut and Dominos, they always let me know that they can make it cheaper if I do/order X. So not only was there a special for Large "premium" pizzas to be $12.00 instead of $17.00, but they could do 2 Large, 2 topping pizzas for $9.00 each. She told me she couldn't give me the second special because my one pizza was only 1 topping. So I asked her to simply give me some extra pepperoni's on the side. Oh wow, all of a sudden they could give me the remaining 2 pizzas for $9 each instead of $13.50 and $12.00. Needless to say, I was a huge advocate for Papa Johns until this incident. Again, I realize some of you don't see this being a big deal which is fine, but I can find good pizza elsewhere. I want to buy at a franchise that is wanting to give me the best deal possible to incentivize me to keep coming back. Sorry PPJoes, I won't be coming back.
