It was absolutely amazing! The food in NYC is so good. Love the papaya juice. Wish we had one back home but then it would probably be too pricey.
I had to do a cancer awareness march cause I got a rare one so I wasn't happy hitting the city from Brooklyn. But I smelled the dogs. And had too. Yes I'm bout bout it Nathan's, but the dogs was delicious and the dudes running the joint were Kool and the gang. Definitely the easy munch spot.Food: 5/5
We loved Papaya Dog. We were walking on the streets trying to look for something to eat and we stumbled ourselves on Papaya Dog and gave themselves a try. The hot dogs were so good. Felepos was so kind and attentive, excellent customer service!. If I could give this place a -0…. I sooo would. The service is horrible! Those two guys in the front should learn customer service skills … rolling eyes and giving an attitude really!Food is mediocre and bland. I read all these reviews claiming the food is great and best hot dogs! I beg to differ! First and last!
It's Papaya if you haven't had it before it's a BUDGET FRIENDLY lunch I had two dogs with the works and a Pina colada drink so good. It's non- alcoholic. Don't expect fancy but the guys were very patient and friendly a big plus in a crazy city.Food: 4/5
Delivers exactly what you'd hope! Tiny joint on Fulton Street, a couple blocks from South Street Seaport... everything from hot dogs to cheesesteak subs and burgers... Just what the doctor ordered, after a late night out in the city. Perfection!
I ordered the cheese steak and fries, and it was very good. The combo is a good deal and comes with a lot of food. Not a lot of places serve shoe string fries so it is a nice change. You can see them make the food right in front of you. Only downside is not a lot of sitting room or standing room, but that doesn't matter if you are getting takeout or delivery via food app. Parking: There was parking on the street in front of the restaurant. I don't know if that's the case in the daytime but it was around 11:00 p.m.
It's ok.. I ate it because I didn't had any other option. Asked for fries and were served cold ones and that's like their norm. Tried couple of times. Good for take out
