This is the only RV park in the area that can accommodate a large RV 40 feet or more with full hookups and room to manouver. Walk to the beaches, restaurants and bars or drive the two miles to downtown Newport right on the water where tere are yachts galore. We've been staying here off and on for 30 years. The property is always clean and well maintained. There are no facilities for dry camping, but they do have full hookups for self contained units. The parks is open to monthly and seasonal guests and that's just fine. (No overnighters) Newpot RI, is one of the best places to visit and explore during the summer. Paradise Parks makes it possible for RVers to park in a roomy space within a small facility and explore all the Newport has to offer. Come stay a month. You won't get bored in this seaside community.

It's a quiet place, because no one is a return customer! The people who run the place have rules like no fires, no rugs on the grass, no using both of your ACs, you know, things people like to do when camping. They actually inspected our campsite daily, a huge invasion of privacy. The woman asked us to remove our rug after we were all set up. The man walked by our site nightly and stood by our camper, in clear view of us, to listen if we were using our 2nd AC unit (we weren't). They're nuts, avoid unless you like being monitored. We felt so unwelcome.

The woman running this place is extremely rude. She acts like she doesn't want your business. The only benefit is location. I found an inexpensive hotel and cancelled my reservation before staying.

SOUNDS LOVELY!!! WIsh I could stay at Paradise Park when I'm in Newport next month. I am disqualified because I travel with a small dog. (Is this because of previous poorly behaved pet owners? The rates Greg quotes below are not at all unreasonable for an intown, high value real estate facility. I like surcharges for A/C, because then campers who use it pay for it, saving the rest of us $$.

AVOID! By far the worst campground we have ever used. They charged us $49 for a small RV with 2 people and charge an extra $5 if you want to use your A/C. Plus they have no bathrooms and the lady running it is not the nicest to put it gently. They seem like they don't want you there. Will not come back here.
