This might be the best chocolate strawberry I've had in years. The pastry was very tender (like an extremely fluffy croissant without the constant flaking) and stuffed with raspberries. Nice spacious place with high ceilings and lots of natural light. The woman behind the counter easy to chat with. I'm really glad we dropped in and I'll be coming by again if were ever back out here!

Wife and I stopped in this quaint, new café just off of Laurens. Ham and cheese quiche and side salad was very good with good portions. Owners are very friendly and provide a good level of service. Will definitely go back.

One of the most disappointing experiences: service was extremely poor and slow and food was less than mediocre. It took over 40 minutes on a day when there were few customers, to get a sandwich that had one slice of turkey, one slice of cheese, 4 slivers of tomato and a few pieces of iceberg lettuce, on an very ordinary croissant that could have been purchased at any local grocery store ! No condiments , no chips and only one paper napkin for 2 people. We also ordered tea, which was not delivered to the table and had to be picked up at the counter, despite the lack of other customers. All this for over. $15.00! This place needs to vastly improve its service, appearance and food!!

If you want something different to what is offered in Aiken. This is the place to go. The café still on there early stages but the food is great and great service.
