We had not been to Paris Coffee Shop in a few years, in fact it was prior to the new ownership. The service was great, the food was good, and I like the updates they have made to the inside. It has maintained that old classic diner feel, but the interior decor is fresh and inviting. If I have one negative, and I'm not sure it can even be classified as negative, it has lost that "greasy spoon" feel that I can't put my finger on. However, it's not enough to keep us from coming back in the future. Per my uploaded photo, I had the chicken fried steak, eggs over medium, and hash browns. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The chicken fried steak was very good, however I prefer a traditional classic white gravy. There was an additional flavor in the gravy that I couldn't identify. It was good, just not my preference. When it comes to chicken fried steak, I feel the recipe should be kept basic and I do not prefer variations of it. As far as the hash browns, I would prefer them to be a little crispier, but they were fine. The coffee was wonderful.
The renovation is beautiful, the staff was very kind and attentive, prices were reasonable and the food was great. Loved the expansion of hours and menu. The whole vibe was chill but bustling. Just as you’d expect for a popular cafe.
Such a cool place. It’s like going back in time. Had a seat at the counter. Had a wonderful chicken salad sandwich and my wife had the prime beef sandwich. Bloody Mary was on point and we left with a slice of homemade key lime pie! Get to the new Paris Coffee Shop as soon as you can!
The staff was most amiable, service was good. I loved the diner ambiance and the top reason for our visit. However, I wish they had other milk options for my coffee, oat specifically, or almond would've been nice. Also, if they add pancakes, waffles or both to their menu; that would make for an ideal spot for me! Other than that, the egg sandwich was delish. I may visit again but only for pie . It was scrumptious.
Soft opening of the new Paris Coffee Shop. Wow! The interior is beautiful; clean lines with an Art Deco feel. The food was top notch; I had the breakfast sandwich, and my husband had the brisket tacowhich was huge! We had the Mr. Smith cocktail, made with Mezcal. Everything was delicious, and the wait staff were friendly and very attentive.
Loved the remodel! Service always great! Food is wonderful & prices are reasonable! Update: sat at the bar this visit because the place was packed! There were two seats left at the bar, so we took them & avoiding the wait. We really enjoyed our waiter Aaron, 6’5” who knew his job well & was very personable! Highly recommended you stopping in, even if you have to wait for a table.
This place has new ownership and everything is amazing. It was great before and now it just a little better. Amazing food. Great service and some new menu items along with the classics.
glad they are open again! the remodel looks great. the staff was super attentive and friendly. I had a tuna sandwich and the house drip. both tasty. real diner vibes. coffee is not watered down like Ol' South or Waffle House. fantastic experience
This is my first time coming here after the remodel/new ownership. Much nicer and cleaner than it was before, menu was okay. Food was great and large portions. My server Leida was perfect in every way. The only issue I had was the chocolate pie, it was average at best. Not as good as the old restaurant. Give it shot, when they open for dinner I will be there.
Paris here doesn’t mean this place is a French cafe that only serves coffee, croissants, wine and cheese. It has the owner’s namesake. Newly renovated restaurant that has a lot of history in Fort Worth. Come in with an open mind because this is a diner that serves dishes inspired from different countries around the globe. Food was great and staff was friendly. Pictured: garlic parmesan crusted chicken cutlet with mashed taters and fried okra. It had some kind of dill sauce that added a nice little punch. **Be mindful of where you park in the back. Some areas say permit only. They have select breakfast items served all day but a breakfast specific menu ends at 11am.
