The selection of games was really diverse. It was happy hour so I had the Moscow mule and my wife had the margarita. We also had the rosemary truffle fries and the wings in firecracker and plain. The wings were juicy and cooked perfectly. Will definitely be coming back.
11/10 would recommend this place! It has such a chill vibe and the food and drinks are the best around. We tried just about every flight they offered and it was wonderful to have finger foods for the table as we played games! Destiny was wonderful and the GM John was kind enough to make me a shot for my birthday. I can’t wait to go back and take my friends!
Lots of fun! Excellent date night or day spot, perfect for a group of friends, or even families. Loved the atmosphere, these ease of game access, and the food we had was delicious. Also the sweet tea was on POINT! We’ll for sure be back!
We had a blast at Game Theory! We had great food, good drinks, learned a new game, and laughed so much! This is such a great concept to go have dinner and play a game as a group, large or small. The staff is awesome, call ahead and they can get you on a list for a table if they don’t have one open, they teach you how to play the game if you don’t know, they serve you well!
Queen was great at making recommendations for the different appetizers, and even better at choosing substitutions for the entrees! The Potion No. 9 was top teir, the Pacifc Punch right behind it and the Blue Hawaiian substitute was amazing. We loved all of the different game options, and the chill vibes!
This was our first time here and definitely a place worth going with family, friends or even as a date night! At peak hours the place can get crowded but once you’re in, it’s fun! There is an initial charge per person to use the board games but despite that, the food and drinks are very decently priced! You can have a good meal well within $10-$15 per person. We went there on a Sunday when they have happy hour from 3-6pm they have happy hours on other days of the week too. From the happy hour menu we tried the Moscow mule I had two! It was really nice, the draft cider, boomtown shrimp, truffle fries & our friends tried the bbq chicken flatbread and mini pies. The food took some time to come but it felt fresh and was delicious. We’ll be coming back here a lot!
The food AMAZING. The vibes PERFECT. Just one thing bothered me. We went in for lunch and were the ONLY people in the restaurant. We were told to check out the table card with the game info since it was our first time and read that is was $2 a person to play. No big deal honestly but since it was a charge we decided to just relax and talk. The waiter after our order stated “it’s okay to grab a game” implying he was allowing us to play on the house I was wrong. So I grabbed some battleship and played for not even 10 min. Later we got the bill and noticed a charge for $4. I felt conned. Could have been my fault for assuming based on his statement I was getting some free games but if I would have know I would have simply refrained. What would you have thought if a waiter told you this in an EMPTY restaurant?
Fantastic experience here, the food was amazing, service was amazing - Queen and JP were great and fun. They have so many games to choose from too. I'll definitely be back soon!
What a great concept! Good food and drinks that don't get in the way of playing boardgames at a reasonable price. The staff are also very knowledgeable and ready to teach any game you might want to play. Games have stickers to show difficulty so keep an eye out for what level fits your play style.
What a great place. Over 500 games to choose from. Get the firecracker wings if you like a little zing. Watch out, it creeps up on you. Played a game of Chess and Othello with my cousin Ali who brought me there. Would love to stop by again if I get back to Texas
