Havent been here in awhile and went to celebrate a birthday. I noted this when I made the reservation as well as mentioned it to our server but unfortunately the birthday wasn’t acknowledged in any way; disappointing. In addition we had a reservation for a table for 5 and put us right next to the bar, also unfortunate since it was thoroughfare for staff and service people. Checked out the menu on line before choosing the restaurant and particularly went here for a specific dinner entree listed. Come to find out the actual menu had changed and the entry was no longer available or on the menu. Those are the negatives. The cocktails were good; fresh like springtime. The food was also very good. Everyone in the party enjoyed what they ordered and we all had a variety of items…steak, pasta, and seafood dishes. We ate indoors but outside dining is also available. Ive never had a bad meal here.
Beautiful restaurant with a wide selection of Persian offerings. Personally, their steak is one of the best I've ever had. For dessert, their wild berry cheese cake is to die for.Food: 4/5
I was able to make reservations for my friends and I. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the music at the restaurant. The customer service and the recommendations were great as well. I will definitely be back to try more things on the menu.Food: 5/5
Parizade was the perfect venue for our wedding! Some of our top priorities when choosing a venue included that our guests would enjoy a delicious meal and be able to safely get back to where they were staying after the wedding. We LOVE the food Parizade, and it is conveniently across the street from a Hilton hotel, so it checked both boxes. Costs: The venue rental for our Sunday wedding was $500, plus a $5k food and drink minimum. Super reasonable. Atmosphere: I would say the vibe of the restaurant is eclectic-Mediterranean-meets-NYC. It was very well suited for our very eclectic wedding celebration! We rented out the whole restaurant for our Sunday wedding, so we had access to all the rooms in Parizade, which each have a unique feel, but those same eclectic-Mediterranean tones. More detail on the various rooms: The rooms include the main dining room, the board room blue room with a bunch of gold framed photographs, the courtyard, and an additional smaller dining room black and white checkered floors. We held our ceremony in the main dining room, cocktail hour in the back & white room, and reception in the back & white room. The board room was used for the groom crew to hangout in for a few hours while the bridal party got ready off site. This was our rainy day plan – our original plan was to have the ceremony outside in the courtyard with the very beautiful fountain. Event coordinator: The event coordinator, Jennifer, was extremely professional and organized. She provided us with paper copies of the menu options that we could select from and gave us the run down on the price points and food & drink minimums, and ideas from what people have done in the past for events. She was very responsive to email. She also provided a list of recommended wedding planners/coordinators to work with the venue requires that you work with one! Jennifer, if you’re reading this – thank you so much!! Staff: I was overwhelmed by our guests responses to the venue and the servers after the wedding. Numerous people texted me after the wedding, commenting on how amazing the food was and how taken care of they felt at the wedding! Parizade, thank you for taking such good care of our loved ones and ensuring they had such a lovely experience and meal!! My husband and I were taken care of by Misel, who was excellent- he even would find me to give me plates of food throughout the evening to ensure I wasn’t too busy to eat! The manager, Igor, was also a key person who ensured the success of the night. Thank you so much! Food: AMAZING. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Durham and my #1 favorite!. We have had everything on the menu, and knew our guests were in for a treat, even those with dietary restrictions. They accommodate food restrictions and sensitivities 3 guests have gluten sensitivities, multiple are vegetarian and mark these easily on the menus. Parizade offers tiered menus with a range of price points that you select and then can offer those menu options for your guests to order from a server during the reception. We liked that option because it gave our guests a more personal experience and gave them the chance to order food they were interested in on that day, rather than having to pick a meal a month out like other venues require.
Absolutely loved the place and food. Fresh and delicious cuisine!! Staff was hospitable and welcoming. Glad we celebrated our special day here!! Vegetarian options: Limited but delicious vegetarian options
We were able to spend Christmas Eve at Parizade, and it was quite festive. The decorations were lovely, our server went out of her way to be helpful to our rather large group and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent--I chose the grilled Branzino fish and though there was some laughing about it being a whole fish, the flavors were complex and layered, wonderful, and there were no eyes. There was an extensive wine list, interesting desserts and a terrific salad ordered separately. It was a good choice. Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options, including a pumpkin ravioli that my daughter said was excellent.
The shrimp and polenta were exquisite as was the branzino. Ratatouille was loved by all the vegans and salmon in saffron yogurt was also perfect. Lamb chops with couscous are my usual favorites so it's a win win either way. If it's winter, I prefer shrimp polenta and lamb for the guys. Ambience is absolutely over the top royale for any occasion or celebration! And service by Amina spelling? was totally top notch. She went above and beyond and our entire party was so satisfied. Perfect start to another year...
This was our second time dining, and we were not disappointed. From the moment we stepped in the door, it was a wonderful experience. Although we were sitting in a different section, we had the same waiter from over a year ago! His attention to detail and taking time to fully engage with us was quite amazing. I had the Branzino, and it was so delicious. I wanted to have the ceaser salad, but our waiter recommended the Greek salad, and boy, was I impressed. I'm glad that he suggested it. Our dessert was a tiramisu cheesecake, and wow, was it divine. I will definitely be back again.
Picked the place for the ambience and was not disappointed. Food was great - Marinara Spaghetti, Ratatouille, red pepper spread and wine. It was all delicious. The desserts were heavenly - got Vanilla creme brulee and the chocolate truffle highly recommended. It did feel a bit congested and noisy though, would prefer to get a table outside next time. Parking wasn't available outside the rest, had to park outside Guasaca in the same lot.
Great upscale Mediterranean restaurant. We really enjoy the buffet style special occasion meals they have in addition to their normal service for a great night out. The food is always fantastic. Sometimes it can take a while to get your seat even if you have a reservation.Food: 5/5
