Camped there last couple of days. Large, well maintained sites, but not many available.Clean bathrooms. Main Hiking trail was nice-lots of fresh wood chips. A few muddy spots. Office staff was very friendly, especially due to the road construction coming into the park. Ground staff could have been a little friendlier. A little noisier than expected .

I've hiked and swam at Park Station so my review only reflects those two activities. The trail that goes along the lakes edge is very nice and an easy trail for families with little ones. Some of the other trails could be marked a little better but if you have a map, you can probably figure it out. As for the swimming, they do NOT supply life jackets and they do NOT allow little ones to wear any type of flotation device but there ARE life guards on duty. I was really frustrated that they don't allow little ones to wear any type of flotation device. While the rule probably makes negligent parents pay more attention, it only made me more stressed about bringing my two year old in the water. I would have held him regardless but being able to put him in any type of life jacket would have made me feel better. Will be making the drive down to Ives Run next time...
