Ordered red beans and rice (yeah, I know) from  a restaurant specializing in Po-Boys), but that’s what appealed to my hunger. Really glad I chose the red beans ... was very tasty and plentiful. The grilled sausage was a perfect side. No doubt I will be ordering from Parran’s again in the near future.

Parran's Po-Boys & Restaurant  is a great place to stop for lunch. The service is great with friendly staff. The seafood po-boy is a delicious choice. This restaurant is family friendly too.

I visited New Orleans for business on December 10th, 2017and a local friend recommended Perrain’s Seafood as the best ever. I took time after a very busy day to visit Perrain’s Seafood and found it was moderate busy and I was seated without delay. I ordered my main course instantly and while waiting I was having my coke. Time flew by and I noticed several customers finished their meal and left and new ones came in but there was no update from the waitress on my meal. I went to her and asked for an update as it was getting late and she said it will be ready soon. I went back to my table and kept waiting, another 10-15 minutes and I went to her again but there was no response or update. After pretty much over 35 minutes, I lost my patience and found the waitress and said that please cancel the order and bring me the check for the coke. It was shocking to see that instead of apologizing or making effort to fix the situation, she turned around and brutally handed over me the check for the coke …. Wow that was something! I went to the see the manager and explained him that it was me who suffered and waited over 30 minutes and now as most restaurants are closed, I have to order a pizza from somewhere and I am the one who is treated like that here instead of apologizing or calming me down. The manager was humble and apologized several times but there was no solution offered to retain the customer not even having the coke on the house. I told them clearly that I will never ever come back here and will never recommend any friend just because of the attitude, your food may be good (which I never tasted) but I cannot tolerate the behavior and how you respect your customers.
