i moved to the united states in 2011 from Jamaica. Back on the island all we would ever hear about was authentic New York style pizza. I stopped into Pasquales Pizza in Pompano. I ordered a large ricotta and meat ball pie. after taking  my first bite into that soft hand crafted crust i thought to my self " welcome to jamrock" this place is truly the Bob Marley of pizza joints.

Oh Marone, this is the best italiano cuisine to ever rub my pallet.
We have an old wives tale back in sicily that says no italian food can be eaten anywhere but in italy.
I tell you now this food here is cooked to perfection.
the meat better than any Capocollo ive ever had.
the scungilli fresh from the compapino bay.
The food reminds me of my great uncle Anotoni DiVitaleys cooking.

All I can say is wow! The owner needs to learn a few guest service skills. The young man ahead of me was told he was "being a pain in my butt" along with a few other colorful lines. The kids soda didn't taste right and he asked for another one. A soda is worth losing a customer? Not only will I not go back the food was terrible. By the looks of the dining room, he only had one other couple,  he can't afford to lose too many guests.

I lived in Italy for 3 years and didn't have a single chicken parmesan that tasted this fantastic. The breading was just divine. The meat was everything juicy white meat could possibly be. Oh and the GRAVY on top. Mama Mia!!! The herbs and spices were blended perfectly. Highly recommended on my end!

The only good thing was the pleasant personality of the woman who delivered and the fact she was within the time frame given. The pizza toppings were not fresh. Canned/frozen spinach and frozen breaded chicken patties are not what one would expect on a $30 large pizza. That alone is over priced anyway. My husband barely ate one piece! I am so very disappointed.  I wouldn't recommend wasting your money!!
