About Pat: The eldest son of a woman who was one of South Dakota’s few lady auctioneers, I grew up working in sales that had a particular eye towards care and service. Sometimes my mom even paid me. I remembered watching my mother obtain her Auctioneer’s Real Estate license, and contemplated doing so myself. But, life happens, and sometimes we move on to other things to make ends meet.

After working various jobs for much of my professional life, I had a rare opportunity to take another look at deciding what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I found myself revisiting my interest in Real Estate as a career. With the support of my family, in 2007 I achieved my dream.

Every day I get the opportunity to help people achieve their dream of owning a home. Home ownership is part of the American psyche, and my job is to work with people to make their dreams become reality.

I’m a 1989 graduate of South Dakota State University, and I live and work in Brookings where my wife and I make our family with our 5 children remaining at home out of 7. I’ve spent considerable time in my professional career in marketing, with a particular eye towards internet marketing and effectively utilizing social media. I’m involved in my community having participated in Leadership Brookings and having served on the Brookings Historic Commission, as well as being active in state and local politics. I’m also a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
