Comfortable rooms, including kitchenette units with dishwasher, sink, stove tops,full-size fridge. Continental breakfast and free Pantry items available. No taxes whatsoever. This also means that There is no housekeeping but, perhaps, you can ask about that. Used to be the Baymont Inn. Nice pool seasonally. Close to the University of Utah hospital and downtown Market Street Grill which has the best seafood omelette for breakfast. And Sunday brunch includes cinnamon rolls. Staff is friendly, kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

I have a major lung surgery tomorrow morning and arrived here this evening from Idaho with my minor daughter. Check-in was easy, friendly, room is clean, fridge and food pantry downstairs available for anyone staying here. I asked about food for my daughter during my stay at the hospital and they gave me two big bags of food to take with us. I can't say how much of a relief this has been not having to worry about purchasing expensive meals for her at the restaurants in the hospital. Gentleman who checked us in went above and beyond. We are impressed, such a great thing for patients and their families who have to stay close to the hospital. Thank you!

Very nice staff that you can tell cares about the people staying there. Remembers people add they come and go. Definitely a home away from home for people staying here.

Great place to stay , especially when loved ones are in the hospital.  All staff members go out of their way to help in any way and there's an endless supply of coffee to keep me happy 😀

Two people from Montana had to stay in the hotel because of a patient staying in the Hospital? I went in there & there was an advertisement for a full breakfast & they had cereal, milk, sometimes yogurt but you could only get one thing at a time! If you got cereal you couldn't get milk. The room stank like mold. The bathroom smelled horrible like mold. We spilled water on the rug & we cleaned it up & the towel turned black because the rug was so filthy dirty. There was no toilet paper available so we had to buy our own. We we're told hit or miss it's all on donations. So we had to buy Toilet Paper. We had to wash all the laundry with our own money. We just made our own beds. We were told that we could stay up to 10 days & we were told we had to leave after 7 days they even changed our code to get into the room. We were then told we have to pay for the days we stayed even though the social workers already paid for all 10 days. There was also no phones available in our room. We could only use the phone at the desk with no privacy. They were talking about a family right in the lobby & saying what dirty pigs they were. They should talk about that in private.
