A wonderful place to visit in a beautiful historic part of Frankfort. This library is impressive to walk around. When you apply for your free membership you can opt for a fingerprint scan that will make checkout much quicker. You can also check books out yourself at one of many kiosks. Simply log in using your fingerprint or your PIN, place all of your books (at the same time!) on the scanner, then select on the screen how you want your receipt. That's it, checkout is less than 20 seconds. I really recommend that you check this place out and maybe walk around the block if you have some free time as well. A great place for a lazy weekend day.

What better institution of a free society is there than the public library? I think it's a great place we have in Frankfort. The staff is great with helping out or giving recommendations. The selection and size is really great considering the size of Frankfort. I love this place.

It's nice but they have some fall backs just like every other business. They have a few issues with dealing with all disabilities. Otherwise good place.

I had such a great experience at the Library in Frankfort. I was in town visiting family and had 4 boxes of books to donate to Paul Sawyier library that my Mother gave me to do. I found a parking spot in front and as I was unloading books, this very nice and friendly security guard asked if I needed help. I saw his shirt had security on it and the Library logo. I said I did and he helped me take in all those heavy books. I asked him about the construction and he explained about the expansion and how it was needed for such a busy library. He was such a gentleman. I then decided to check out the Library since I haven't seen it since I moved away. The librarians at the front desk were very friendly and helpful as well. I will be moving back to Frankfort when I retire in 5 years and the Library will be a regular visit. They made me feel right at home. The City of Frankfort is very lucky to have a Library like this and the Staff that works it.
