I have been here multiple times and stop going all together. I live conviently in the area why I go but, the collection of books are not very good or up-to-date. Also, the inside of the library looks old, raggedy, and in need of repair. Quite a bit of homeless people. And libraries I've frequented other than this one look and are ran better. The librarians are not very helpful and rude and lack good customer service skills. It's dirty and they don't keep up the librAry very well. There was time a small child was just talking a bit loud and press the button to the library elevator and one of the male librarians (I assume a manager or something) continued to glare and look at the child and mother nasty and rude. How overboard and unnecessary. The one by peachtree transit station is better and customer service is better. Although, lot of homeless people.

I'm reluctant being first to review this almost hidden Fulton library across from the High Museum. It feels I'm giving away Atlanta's best kept secret. I enjoy going there more than any area library. Their collection isn't huge, however they will obtain any item in the Fulton system within days. It is reasonably quiet, certainly more-so than downtown, then there's no shortage of pleasant outdoor reading spots in the area.

I lived 2 blocks by this location for 4 months before realizing I was walking by a library. I like this small, hidden location. There selection isn't the biggest, but I frequently request loans from other libraries and pick it up here. There are a few parking spots in the garage below for library visitors. I love that they have a Friends of the Library section that always sells books, CDs, and DVDs. My only complaint is their funky hours. Double check that they are open before heading over!
