Story



Hello, fun… That is the motto of Pedego and a reason why we opened Pedego La Quinta. We were looking for something new and different to do in the Coachella Valley. We know that the Valley is a destination for a lot of people looking for a way to relax while still staying active. With countless days of optimal weather and great terrain for biking we knew Pedego would be a great fit in our community and the surrounding desert communities. We knew through our travels that we would want to do something exciting while on vacation so we decided to offer it to travels and locals alike.

Pedego Electric Bikes is not only a way to stay active and fit (yes you do get exercise from riding an electric bike), but a way to enjoy sights that you may not travel to on a regular bike. With Pedego you are not limited by your fitness capability, you are able to go further distances to see and do more. We offer bike rentals, bike repair (for all bikes), group tours and accessories.

We rode these Pedego Electric Bikes about 26 miles around LaQuinta and had a lot of fun. They are so intuitive to use. You can manually pedal like a regular bike or turn on the electric assist to whatever level you want. The guys at the shop are nice and helpful. These bikes are really wonderful. I highly recommend renting or buying them.

The Pedego touring experience is unforgettable. If you haven't tried it yet, the ride may change your world for the better, and at Pedego, the shop and the people there are no exception. Their passion and genuine desire for you to have a great day is felt the moment you walk in. I have rented from this shop and purchased a bike here. When out-of-town guests visit, a Pedego day is a must-do on the list. The shop offers delivery to your location, overnight and multi-day rentals. Every experience is easy and fun, except if you go over the handlebars. Whether servicing my bike or renting with friends, the enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff have made our repeated experiences here always enjoyable. To Brian, Dave, Bill, Matt and the big fella in the back, we thank you!

My wife and I spent the entire day on these bikes and loved every minute of it. We rode all over La Quinta including Bear Creek Tail Trail and down to Lake Cahuilla. It's amazing how much the electric bikes help, and you can work as little or as much as you want. We kept saying over and over again how brilliantly the bikes were designed and how well they work . We thought it was so fantastic we're going to do it again with some friends later next week. And Noheh is a great guy who took great care of us. Very friendly and very helpful. This is a must-do

Many thanks to Brian and Matt who were so helpful, cordial, instructive, professional and friendly. They helped me reattach my front tire which I had neglected for almost one year! Their attention and encouragement - along with the complimentary service - has reinforced my intention to ride more often. I will certainly return to Pedego for future bike needs. I also want to rent one of their electric bikes to have that experience. I hear it's life-changing!

Nice people great bikes. As an avid biker i have my own bike but I like to rent their electric bikes to take friends and family on local routes when they visit us..
