Easy to see why this place is so crowded and popular.  Food is exceptional.  We had so many delicious dishes...egg rolls,  dumplings,  Firecracker Shrimp, fried rice,  Chicken Garlic Shoots. Outstanding dishes include the lamb,  so juicy and flavorful,  and of course the Peking Duck! To top it off, we had the Volcano for 4, fun to look at but,  but a bit too sweet.  Overall excellent food,  though the services was slow... they ran out of glasses so it took forever to get water,  and we ordered 2 drinks that never came,  oh well.

We will not come to this restaurant ever again, no matter how excellent the foods are! They seem not to care about their customers since they have so many willing to put up with their terrible services. The receptionist claimed not to have our name on the list, even though my wife did ensure her name was taken correctly and confirmed our reservation several times the day before. It was a post-wedding celebration with a few very close friends of us, so we wanted to make sure the reservation was made properly. My wife tried to reason with the receptionist to no avail. She even seemed to imply that my wife was lying, and ignored her completely! Never even a hint to try to accommodate us! When all of our friends showed up, we had to apologize to them. It was a very embarrassing experience! We ended up at another Chinese restaurant nearby and had a blast any way! I know they make really good foods, but no good cuisine goes without good services. They actually ruined it for us! Just beware: there's a Peking Duck Nazi! :-)

These people have no common sense?  After so many years one would think they would know that what makes this place so popular is the ambiance especially when it's crowded, the duck, the carving of the duck in front of the customers, the Chinese waiters even if they are not totally competent, the photos on the walls and so on. So if I invite some friends to dine here it is to share the experience. That was my intention last night January 20, 2018. But guess what, after waiting for half an hour even though we had reservations, they put us in the back of the restaurant behind a black wall where we couldn't see anybody at a huge table that seemed to be made for 20 people although we were 8. Since I didn't want to upset my friends I decided to stay there but it definitely ruined my plans. And when I complained the people in charge couldn't understand why I wasn't happy at that table. If I go to a restaurant,  and this one is expensive, it's not to hide in a corner. I can do that at home. I can only conclude that either these people have no common sense or have no consideration for their customers. At least they could have asked me if a table in that situation was OK with me.

They lost our reservation made one day before and I could see things going down hill from there.  Somehow they found a table for us on this incredibly busy day and things were suddenly OK, and got better from there on.  The Duck is their house specialty and they must sell hundreds a night based on all that I saw being delivered to various diners.  They slice it for you right at the table.  Wonderful crispy skin and moist succulent meat served on a thin crepe with Chinese onions, cucumber and duck sauce.  The one downside is that the place is so crowded and busy that it is not leisurely dining. Everyone seems to be madly rushing from place to place with no time to stop and catch a breath.  The décor consists of hundreds of photos of people who have eaten there, 99% of which are of people you do not know.  Go for the great food, not the frantic ambiance.

I love the Peking Duck here. The way they display it at your table is beautiful. Garlic sprouts are a big hit however they are not always available due to their popularity. Servers are very attentive. This place is also very authentic. Great place to eat!
