Crawford Window and Door in Rensselaer NY is the worst company I have ever dealt with.  My experience has shown them to be incompetent while providing the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
  I ordered a simple replacement sash for a standard sized Pella window and was told it would take about two to three weeks.  To be sure I got the right sized sash I physically brought the old one into Crawford so they could measure it.  After five weeks I called repeatedly to find out where my window was.  I also sent numerous emails.  Finally, after a week of leaving messages, they did get back and said it would still be three more weeks.   When it finally came in I made the two hour round trip to Crawford to pick it up only to find out it was the wrong size – it wasn’t even close.  They wanted me to bring the sash back in so they could measure it again!  I asked that a technician be sent to my house to measure it and they said they would have to charge me for that.  Finally, they agreed to do it as a “service.”  I was told they would rush the delivery because of the foul-up.  Nope, still took two months to get it here.  I was then told a technician would be here between 11 and 1 to install the new window.  Nope.  They just left it on the porch.  And guess what?  Wrong size again.  A third window was ordered and now after almost six months I have the right window.
Read other reviews about Crawford’s customer service.  My experience is not the exception.  It appears Crawford’s customers all get the same service – terrible.

Had a technician come out to take a look at a few windows that needed to be repaired. Charged us the service call fee and it’s been 6 weeks for a follow up to come and repair the windows. Horrible customer service. Have left multiple calls.

I have a Pella door that the window shattered. It took a month for someone to come out to measure the window. Now it will take another month or two to get the new window installed. No one seem to care that the shattered window is now breaking apart and glass falls out every time we open and close the door.  This is not the type of customer service that I expected.
