Penn State Mont Alto is a campus of The Pennsylvania State University. Located in beautiful south central Pennsylvania, the campus is minutes from Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown while also about an hour and a half from Harrisburg, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.

Students have the opportunity to begin their first two years of more than 160 of Penn State’s degree programs at Mont Alto. The following associate and baccalaureate degrees are offered in their entirety at Penn State Mont Alto:

The campus was founded as the "Pennsylvania State Forest Academy in Mont Alto" in 1903 by the governor of Pennsylvania. This makes Penn State Mont Alto the oldest campus outside of University Park.
