Here literally right now. Saturday 3/23/18 9:32pm. Walk in to soaking g bleach floors, almost slipped and fell, no caution signs up. Go to order and was asked “hot or cold subs?” (With immense amount of attitude. I say hot. Get an eye roll. Been to Penn Station a lot, never been asked that question. Attitude galore from staff like I walked in 1 minute before close. Lazy workers. Subs are always good though.

The food was great! The fries were awesome and not even greasy! The 3x stars is due to the staff. They were perfectly mannered when addressing me, but while I am sitting there eating my lunch, the last thing I want or need is to hear these 2x young women talking so loud that they were projecting throughout the store about the drama of their coworker. They went on and on for 10 to 15 minutes about the first 3 days of their menstrual cycle and knowing that is the worst of the cucle, and this coworker lying about it when calling off. The food was aweso e, and while that is a part of nature, it is not something that I care to hear at such a level. The staff need to be more aware of their topics while patrons are present and eating.

They got slammed at one point with web orders and accidentally forgot my fries. Manager gave me 4 free sub tickets and a larger order than I paid for.

The food was great -especially the fries, but the customer service was horrible. My husband and I have never been there before and didn’t know how to order/ where to go. We walked back an forth along the prep line unsure of where to go. None of the employees were helpful until we asked what to do. There were maybe 4 other customers total in the store, all taken care of (had their food) and our food took 15 minutes- around 5pm aka dinner time. Shortly before leaving, a large line started to form and there was constant yelling by an employee- who I’m assuming was the shift manager screaming “long line, everyone to the front, and the line is to the door” repeatedly. With that, we left promptly. There is another location near us, but further than this one. Let’s hope it’s better.
