It's a very different experience than Subway. If you are among those who mourn the loss of Chicago Style at Dempster & Greenwood, the French Fries here will bring back memories.
It is just a really good cooked submarine sandwich, must be the better quality ingredients.

This is the best place to get a sub in all of Illinois. They make it fresh and the restaurant is very clean and up to date. Workers are very nice and appearance is great.  Food is AMAZING!

I'M FROM OUT SOUTH, COME TO MORTON GROVE TO WORK AT AVON. I ORDERED THE PHILISTEAK MANNNN PERFECT AND I ASKED THEM TO PUT MUSTARD ON IT REMINDED ME OF JT POLISH SAUAGE(MAXWELL STREET JEWTOWN). PERFECT FRIES DELICIOUS, THAT LEMONADE WAS 1970s OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD LEMONADE SALE MOUTH SMACKING GOOD. NEED I SAY MORE. DEFINATELY LETTING ALL MY COWORKERS KNOW. THANK YOU FOR A DELICIOUS MEAL AND FRESH FOOD.

I ordered an Italian Sub cooked and surprisingly it was the best sub sandwich I ever ate. Subway, Jersey Mikes and the rest are not as tasty as these. Anyone who tries Penn Station Subs is gonna be hooked for life.
