I was here TWICE for two hours each to change my out of state license to PA. I did this twice and STILL have to come back. Why? Because the requirements change every f****ing time I'm here!!! The first time they told me all I needed was a piece of mail sent to my current address. So, I brought it the second time and they said it couldn't be any mail after the first guy told me "all you have to do is get yourself a birthday card sent to you, and bring in the envelope", that was a lie. Now they're saying it has to be a magazine or something I paid to have shipped to me. I'm going back today and I damned sure the things I had shipped to me won't be enough, and I'll have to give them my first born.

It seems REALLY STRANGE to give HIGH MARKS to a State-Run Agency, but HERE IT IS. The PENN-DOT Office at the Duncan Manor Shopping Center is a Very Well Managed Location. There's a Greeter at the Front Desk to Answer any & all questions, a number wheel to take a number & to go up to whatever Employee at the window that you are to go to. You ALWAYS have to be AWARE of the window that you are supposed to REPORT to. My Wife & I go to this Office for our License Renewal & each Visit is an easy experience. The PENN-DOT STAFF are EASY GOING Employees & they ALWAYS have to HANDLE 1 Pain In The Butt that has a MINOR, but ANNOYING QUESTION or COMMENT. Each Employee has a job to do, & They seem to do it WELL. I like how they have EACH SECTION of seats properly placed for the picture taking, the drivers tests & the written tests, that are NOW Computerized. Sometimes there is a WAIT for the pictures & a LONG NERVOUS WAIT for the FUTURE DRIVERS of PENNSYLVANIA. I've heard about MAJOR PROBLEMS at other PENN-DOT Offices, but this Office is a VERY WELL RUN LOCATION & other Offices SHOULD Take Note.

Horrible wait time just for my son to take his permit test. 2 1/2 hours. The women who was taking care of all the B numbers was extremely slow. She was taking 20-30 mins per customer and worst of all she was very rude. My sons information has already been logged in due to the first time he took his test but for some reason she took 30 mins just to get his papers together befor even taking the test. He's now been done for 25 mins and she keeps avoiding calling him to give him his permit and let us leave. I don't ever understand why people who work for the state are such jerks and always so disrespectful.. we all pay our taxes just like they do!! If they don't like their job then find a new one because those of us who walk in with smiles and great attitudes , don't deserve to walk out upset period!! 
Example of her rudeness , she kept trying to say his birth certificate may not be accepted and let me remind you we just used it at the downtown location a week ago, with no issue at all. So of course I tell her this and her response was,  well I do my job by the law so I tell her yeah I'm sure he did too. She didn't like that apparently because her next response was, if you went downtown last time then why did you come to this location for what...
Excuse me r u kidding me, how does she still have a job here !!!

I mean is a DMV, but it's one of the best I've been to in the country. Staff is very friendly. Make sure you have EVERYTHING you need because everything is so standardized. If you're nice, they're nice back. It's clean. Pretty modern and not scary.

Friday morning.  Arrived 8:50 for new photo.  Walked out at 9:12.  My paperwork was in hand and ready as I arrived, seemed simple enough.  :)
