Not a customer review but an employee review.  This company puts numbers ahead of people and I will not and cannot stand with it.  I will never forget being so excited to be able to have a career started and start looking into buying my first home with my son.  8 months into the job I was completely turned from an innocent, determined, kind hearted, respectful, hopeful… could go on forever on all the things I had in store to bring to the company. And I will say, I was run out and shut down by a very very toxic work environment. It has been since July 13th that I was literally told to quit or I was going to be fired when all I was doing was right by the company and sticking up for what’s right.  That got me exiled and mistreated and the second I tried to do what everyone else was doing I was run out… so anyways…  Wanna work for the company? Don’t be an honest hardworking human being. Be dirty and dishonest and you will go far! Because that is what has taken over.

I would NEVER rent, sale,buy anything from PENSKE TRUCK RENTAL again they are completely the worse company ever. First they sale you a good line up with how quick and easy and affordable their trucks are, just for them to do the very opposite. It is going on 3 months and I have paid my half and have yet to receive my truck, just to call every week and get the same story. "The truck have a few more things that need to be fixed" or not hear from anyone at all. They are terrible with communication no one calls and then when they finally answer no one know that is going on. I've lost a ton of money behind this inconsiderate so called of a "company". If you are considering trying to do business with this company please reconsider..

First time using this location.  Great care given.

I would never rent from Penske again. They start off with low rates but are quick to add on fees and charge your card. The first truck broke down after about 4 hours of use. Yet I was charged for 3 days. They only care about the money not the success of your business.

On Wednesday, we reserved a 2-room capacity truck and furniture pads for Saturday rental. Went to pick up the reserved truck and were told AFTER PAYING that neither truck nor pads were available - but we could have a 1-room capacity van instead. We declined and asked for refund. Full amount was not finally refunded until AFTER we had to contact the “Area Supervisor.”  If you want to get what you reserved, rent from another company.  I would give a zero star rating if that were an option.

Rented a 26' truck at a price of $450, quoted When we picked it up, it was $625!!. When asked, just a bunch of BS fees added, including tax. Truck ran well. Then they charge $8.00 per gallon if you don't fill up at a gas station that cost $2.40. What a rip.

Went the downtown location at 802 holly springs ave and was helped by Jake and Kate, they both extremely helpful and even looked out with a vehicle just for me despite being booked. I’ve been running around to various U - Haul companies and kept getting denied because I didn’t have a reservation and the customer service piss poor but yeah Penske great everyone should definitely start moving with them

Granddaughter rented a truck but went to the wrong pensje truck rental. We xalked and they advised her no problem..we will wait on you to come and  pick up the truck. When we hit there, one of the mechanics told us that the contract manager left. Never bothered to wait as promised.  Not cool penske!

Special thanks to R. Jones. Great customer service skills, super friendly and knowledgeable. Truck was super clean and in perfect conditions. Penske is the best moving truck rental in the market.

I had a moving day coming up and I had a modest amount of furniture to move, so two weeks in advance I made a reservation online to pick up a Penske high-ceiling cargo van smallest one at a garage on West Marshall. Soon after I made this reservation, they contacted me and told me that location is closed and I told them I could pick it up at this one, the Holly Springs location. Some time later, two days before my move, they called me again and asked me if I'd be amenable to a 16' truck instead two sizes bigger than I wanted since they may not have a cargo van available. I didn't like this idea but since I probably couldn't find another van elsewhere two days before I needed it, I said yes. The day of the move, I picked up the huge truck, which I never felt comfortable driving. On the way back across the river, I inadvertently drove it across the Blvd Bridge, where trucks aren't permitted. The people at the toll bridge called a cop to turn me around and he cited me for the violation. Fortunately, the day looked up from there but it wouldn't have happened if I'd gotten a cargo van like I asked. I said this much to the man behind the desk when I returned the truck. He apologized and seemed genuine but it was a unsatisfactory experience for me. If I need a van in the future, I doubt I'll go here again.
