Mechanics pick and choose what car they want to work on. It doesn’t matter if your are next or if you made an appointment. I saw this happen with my own eyes 3 different times. I finally said something and then the next mechanic took the job. I bought tires on their website and decided to have them installed . I won’t be coming back here anymore! I suggest more management in the service department. The mechanics do what they want !

Terrible describes them best. I understand that all car shops will do their best to squeeze as much money as they can out of you, so that's not my issue. But Pep Boys not only takes your money but they do a horrible job at actually fixing your car. Another dissatisfied customer.

Manny Lone is the best Pep Boy manager. He replaced my damaged battery immediately.  I am one happy customer.  His staff was excellent too.  I would go to Pep Boy in Westchester Square again..

Had a relatively simple job.....needed to replace one of my tires. Made an appointment, they saw me almost immediately, and because I had purchased my tires from them originally, they gave me a discount on the replacement. Pretty good experience for me......

I went there for a oil change. Mobil one annual protection oil and also bought extended filter for $14.99 that should last one year or 20,000 miles according to Mobil. It turns out they charged me for that filter but installed a $3 filter. After having some work done elseware I was informed it was not a Mobil extended filter and decided to bring it back and to their attentions. They tried to say cant be but after putting it back up on the lift and looking at it they said yes it was not the filter I paid for and they would give me the one I paid for and I can use it the next oil change.. So I tell them I was being robbed cause the iol I paid for says 1 year or 20,000 miles so now the $3 filter was actually gonna make me do a oil change in 3 months instead of 1 year and if that was the case I could have usef a cheaper oil. The manager tried to tell me that no the oil I brought was only good for 6 months or 5,000 miles that Mobil just advertises that so people buy it.. So I say really so why does Pepboys sell something that is falsely advertising something that is un true..I said If Pepboys is selling it they should stand behind what they sell. And also if that was the case then as the customer buys something that is falsely advertising spmething why wasn't I told at the time of purchase so I can make a better decision. He was like thats the way it is. Well that is wrong. They changed my filter and put new oil in the same one I paid $50.00 for. I will never go back to them ever ahain and I suggest you do the same... Beware ....
