I use to go to Pep Boys all the time. The past 2 years I have started going other locations. People who work there are horrible! Rude, nasty and do not know what they are talking about. I purchased tires there 2 years ago and the will not honor their warranty. I was talked into these tires, being told they are awesome tires! Hated them from the beginning! NO traction at all and when I bring it up to them, they have excuses or ignore me. They are lucky I haven't ended up in a bad accident yet when it's raining. They are not helpful at all and I am not sold they rotate my tires as they claim they do. I will be switching tires this month, at a different garage and getting better tires, cheaper! Pep Boys, you have gone down hill fast.

We needed badly worn tires replaced last minute and they took us in before closing: no fuss, quick job, and friendly.

I got my alignment done here on Sunday 04/23/17 the service was quick and I asked for tire rotation which they told me was complimentary but guess what complimentary means not rotating tires at all. I had one wheel cap missing and when I came back to the car that wheel was not rotated. Now I am not sure how good was the alignment. Will not recommend it at all.

I would have given them zero if i had the chance. I scheduled an oil change here around 11 this morning for 6 o'clock in the afternoon. Phone call went great and they told that they would see me at 6. It is now 5:30 in the afternoon. I just called them to let them know that i was on my up with the car. They told me in exact words "yeahhhh, we wont be able to do this today." So i proceeded to ask, "can i ask why not?" And he tells me, "one of our guys didnt show up." For anybody who doesnt see the issue with this, it was half an hour before i was supposed to be getting my oil change, and they didnt even think to call me and tell me that they couldnt do it today. Instead, i called to let them know i was coming, and thats when they decided to tell mr this. I have never been to a Pepboys for service before, but i can tell you right now i will never be going. Whoever manages this place sucks, first of all. Whoever owns this place, i really suggest that you actually take a look at the people that work for you, because what just happened was absolutely absurd and something should change about the way your employees do business and handle things. I am truly, extremely mad at this.

I never write reviews..... However I feel I need to warn others about the price you'll pay if you go here. I go to make an appt online and decide to call (last time they were double booked for my appointment slot when I booked online) the female on the other end of the line tells me if it doesn't allow me to book online it's bc they are booked solid for inspections and I'd have to be a walk in. I advised her I am able to book online without an issue meaning there are spits available anytime after 4 that day but want to make sure it won't double book again. She tells me I'd have to be a walk in without an appt. I book online anyways bc she is contradicting herself. I get to the location and there are only 2 cars in the entire garage (thought they were booked solid... hmmmmm). Anyways every time I look out over 2.5 hours my car is on the lift but no one is working on it. Only 1 other car in the garage. I wait patiently...... So okay...I went in for my state inspection and emissions and a simple oil change. Here's the verdict: I'm told my rear control arm bearings were "torn through completely" and that my sway bar links were required to be replaced to pass inspection (they were not broken and that says not needed required for inspection). So the total for all of this 780 dollars (although he verbally quoted me "over $900" before I did my own elementary level math). Almost 500 for labor alone (including a warranty for their labor services which means they can't be too confident with their work) also including a tire alignment that I didn't ask for for $90. So I paid 80 for my oil change, emmisions and inspection without the sticker and told him not to order the parts. Mind you I am a female by myself who happens to know a thing or 2 about cars. I look up the prices of these parts on pepboys own website bc they should be the same price and i find they are over charging me for every single part in their garage. The prices don't even match their own website. Anyways fast forward, I go to another garage, thats always been honest with me, with my list from pepboys for an estimate and complimentary inspection to see of this is correct (I'm willing to pay but want to be sure I'm not being taken advantage of). I get the call..... not only does my sway bar pass inspection bc it's got barely any give and is no where near bad..... my entire car passes inspection. (Not even the 15 dollar trunk light bulb is out as quoted by pepboys) I question the condition of the bushings...... huh... nothing is wrong with my bushings by any means and they were puzzled where they saw them "torn through"... However the brakes and rotors are highly recommended to be replaced bc they barely passed inspection... Apparently pepboys missed the 1 thing on my car that needed done. My rear brake pads were cracked in half due to being installed incorrectly (this is a review for incorrect installation for another neighboring garage - ntb). Somehow they didn't see this. I will NEVER go back to this place! I paid for my failed inspection, passed emissions, an oil change and to sit there for over 2.5 hours to get taken advantage of. Oh and as I sit in the waiting room a very kind woman was quoted 120 for parts and labor on her car and when she went to cash out they told her they quoted her without labor on accident. She had to pay 250 (more than double her quote) for the exact work she was quoted 120. Crazy.... save yourself the headache! At the end of the day i gave my money to an honest garage who treats me right! Even had them go ahead with my brakes and rotors and they get my money and gave me some awesome discounts! Take care of your customers.... if you don't then at the end of the day you lose money bc they won't be back.
